Hamptons & Soles Axis This is the first time I’m writing a review, but I want to warn everyone who is considering using this place. I brought in a pair of shoes for repair. The task was to glue on protective soles and find a solution to repair the upper coating, which had started to wear off, in order to prevent further damage. At the reception, the staff member suggested doing a light restoration as well and said that a technician would contact me to discuss possible solutions. I was warned that there were many orders and that I would need to wait. Fine. A month later, I received a message saying the order was ready. I came to pick it up. The staff member spent a long time looking for my order. Eventually, they somehow found it. I looked at the result and saw that instead of the damaged layer, there was now a hole. I pointed this out. The response was: “We couldn’t repair it.” I replied that even if that were the case, they had created a hole in the exact place where the repair was supposed to be done. She shrugged and showed me a “before” photo they had taken. We compared them. The hole was obvious — just not to the employee. Five minutes earlier, she had said she understood shoe repair and had experience. Yet she couldn’t tell the difference between shoes with a hole and without one. She immediately suggested that I wait for a call from the manager, who would definitely contact me on Monday, since the manager was unavailable on Saturday. On Monday, I received a text message along the lines of: “We glued on the protective soles and did the restoration. We couldn’t do the rest.” Apparently, calling me was also something they couldn’t do. I called myself and asked to speak with the manager. The receptionist asked for time to “resolve the issue” and then called me back to say: “Please send us an email. You can’t speak to the manager.” When I asked why, the answers were along the lines of “because.” The conversation ended with the staff member simply hanging up the phone. Is this how you usually communicate with your clients? Do you take responsibility for your work? You advertise quality and experience, but entrusting you with an expensive item for repair means risking having it ruined. I sincerely hope that my review will save many good вещи from the work of these “professionals.”
