We would like to express our gratitude to the museum of money "Pennies" for an excellent tour for 6th grade students! The children were absolutely delighted! It seemed difficult to expect that teenagers could be surprised with money, but the museum did it brilliantly. The tour took place in one breath: both the children and the accompanying people listened with their mouths open. What I particularly liked: 1. Interactive. The guys were given a real 405-year-old thaler to hold!! . The atmosphere of research, not a boring lecture hall. 2. Unusual exhibits. The sixth graders were shocked and delighted to see a cuff with the cross of Euphrosyne of Polotsk weighing more than a kilogram and coins of such sizes that you cannot put in your wallet. 3. Clear narrative. The guide spoke in Belarusian, which was understandable to the children: about hryvnia, rubles, broadsword, counterfeiters and records. No one was distracted by the phone, which is the best indicator. 4. Practical benefits. After the tour, the children had an animated discussion about inflation and how money has changed over the centuries. They wanted to study the history of their country even more deeply and not only! Special thanks for the kindness and patience to the noisy company. The museum is compact, but very busy — we spent time there with great benefit and interest. We recommend it to all schools in Minsk (and not only)! "Pennies" is a case where the difficult is told simply and fascinatingly. We will definitely come to you for other programs!

An amazing museum! We accidentally got there and were very satisfied. Unfortunately, I did not remember the name of the guide, I would like to thank him very much for an interesting tour. The young man talked enthusiastically and competently, focusing on interesting and unique moments. We came at the end of the tour, so he showed us everything separately from the beginning. The collection of money is private, it impresses with its fullness. Only positive impressions remained from the visit.

A wonderful museum where you can see banknotes from all over the world. When we were planning a trip to Belarus, this museum was marked by us as a must-visit. And we were not disappointed! We were given a two-hour tour, where we learned a lot of interesting things: for example, where the expressions "grandmother" and "mower" came from in relation to money, and how money can be used to track the economic state of the country. It's just a pity that we were limited in time and therefore couldn't really see anything. And there is something to see there!!!

One of the most interesting museums I have visited. There are a lot of different bills and coins. If you visit, call the museum and try to book a tour. Since we arrived very late, an hour before closing time, we only managed to get to a small part of it, and it was enough for this fragment to understand that it was necessary to take an excursion when visiting. I recommend you to visit and we will definitely visit this museum again if possible)

Perhaps my most interesting tour was in this museum. Thanks to the employee, unfortunately, I forgot the name. It was August 19th. A couple of people are recruited and the tour begins. They offer an audio guide, but I recommend the tour anyway, the price is included in the ticket price. There is a collection of banknotes, coins, scrolls and more, which the owner has personally collected over the years. It will be interesting for children, both interested and uninterested. It's a pity that such interesting things weren't told in history lessons at the time, everything could have turned out differently. I definitely recommend it, don't even hesitate to visit!🪙

The museum is small but interesting. But such a museum format doesn't need much space either. It's not bad to come in for a change. There are interesting examples of bills and coins. But be prepared that the Belarusian language will not be fully understood. The administrator, who is also an expert and a tour guide, may be the owner speaks only Belarusian. I think it's important. His right. But, in principle, we understood 80-90 percent of what he said when inviting us to visit the museum.

It's a great museum. Excellent tour guide. The museum has a private collection of banknotes from all over the world and Belarus. The tour was dedicated specifically to our country - from ancient times to the present. I learned a lot of interesting things for myself - the history of the state and the history of money go side by side. In addition, the collection contains very beautiful limited-edition collections produced by our National Bank, dedicated to various topics - religion, sports, animals, plants, astronautics, ballet and many others.. In general, I highly recommend it!

I visited the Museum of Money and was absolutely delighted! There are so many interesting things about the history of money, coins and bills that I didn't even think about. The tour took place in one breath: the story was clear, lively and without unnecessary "dry" theory. I am very grateful to the guide for such a great experience. I definitely recommend you to visit!

An unexpectedly interesting museum! There are discounts for pensioners, and people with disabilities are free. There are rare securities, banknotes and coins that have not been seen so far. There are even pre-revolutionary bills of exchange, which we have not seen in any museum! There is a $100 trillion banknote! There is a large collection of concentration camp money, which we have only seen in the Royal Numismatic Museum in Stockholm - and there are fewer types of it. There are even macquins (pirate money)! We spent more time there than we planned, but I want to go again. And I liked the guide.

Quite an extensive collection of coins and bills. There is a table with literature on this topic..The only thing I noticed is that it's not very convenient for people of small age to watch. The storefronts are too tall. Those who are interested in the topic will be very interested in the guide..

We came across the museum by accident, but we spent two unforgettable hours there. The exhibits are interesting both in appearance and history; the limited collection of coins in the form of Orthodox icons is particularly amazing. The guide spoke quite interestingly and emotionally, it is clear that the man loves his job. The museum has books on numismatics, they allow you to read to immerse yourself in this wonderful world of money. I recommend you to visit.

We found all the money in the world in one place! Only there were no "katanovkas" there.😅 Here are banknotes and coins from all over the world. But the main thing is that Vitaly is an awesome tour guide here. We happened to go on an excursion with a group of children from St. Petersburg. How cool the guide told and showed. Starting with the very first money, gold guilders and Russian Katekas. He told me why they started calling money money. It was very cool to listen and learn about the "Belarusian bunnies", these are old rubles, where a bunny was painted on the most popular banknote. Other animals that live in Belarus were painted on the rest of the bills. The artist was drawing animals from an old encyclopedia. Opening the "bear" tab, he redrawn the grizzly bill. No one noticed the mistake, so they typed it. Now the Republic of Belarus has very beautiful banknotes, very similar to the euro. Their printing was ordered in Britain. Vitaliy also pays for a subscription to the museum's YouTube channel. For example, we received 5 pfennigs from Germany and 10 cents from Lithuania! Young residents of St. Petersburg also earned different old coins.

We entered by accident. But we were very pleasantly surprised. I definitely advise you to listen to the guided tour, which is free of charge. This is an opportunity to learn not only about money, but also to delve into the history of Belarus and understand different historical periods for yourself. A well-thought-out and well-embedded story. There are discounts for family visits. It is very interesting to visit.

Private collection, museum. The room consists of two rooms in fact. Although the collection of banknotes is large and impressive, but 20 rubles for admission is a bit much. Just come to see if there's any kind of tour or description missing. I also didn't like the location of some of the banknotes, which are located very high, as well as the light against you, I couldn't see them. There is an opportunity to look through the banknotes, but they have no value, the condition is poor, the price is 10 times too high. You can also purchase NBRB coins with a 2-fold increase when they are still available in the bank itself. But the collection is really worthwhile, requiring a lot of effort, time and finances.

We went with my mom on a recommendation, we didn't expect much. But in the end, I really liked it! In many ways, this is the merit of the guide! Unfortunately, they did not ask his name, but the young man talked very interestingly, enthusiastically and competently, and answered our stupid questions. It is very interesting to learn about the history of a country through money and to see how money reflects important aspects of history. I highly recommend it! The tour is short and not tedious.

The Groshi Museum is my favorite museum in Minsk. The exhibition presents coins and banknotes that were used in the Belarusian lands from ancient times to the present. These are Roman coins, Arab dirhams, and coins of European states of the Middle Ages. Coins of Poland, the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, the Russian Empire, Austria, Prussia, the Ukrainian state, Poland, the Soviet Union, and the monetary units of modern Belarus. Also coins of neighboring countries. The second part of the exhibition is represented by monetary units from different countries of the world. Nice staff, you can book a guided tour. I recommend it, it's very interesting!!!

A wonderful museum! An amazing and informative tour! We were walking, we saw the sign quite by chance and decided to come in. The museums have coins and banknotes from different countries, a huge hall with the history of money in Belarus. The young man talked interestingly about almost every exhibit, I thought it was all impossible for a mere mortal to remember))))) There are many things you just don't think about in everyday life, but money is an integral part of every stage in history. I definitely recommend the museum to visit!

A stunning private museum, a huge collection, which the guide Vitaly told us about very interestingly. It's even a pity that we arrived 2 hours before closing time and only had time to watch a part. We are far from being numismatists, but it seems that if we had come in the morning, we would not have been able to leave until the evening — so interestingly we were told stories about money and countries. 100% worth the money
