What a magical place sadly neglected. 30 years ago or so the English style park blew me away. The statues were still covered for the winter. Now trees and bushes have overgrown, statues disappeared. The palace itself is reasonable size without flashy over the top decor. What a tragedy for the whole nation that Pavel The First - a gentleman on the throne was brutally murdered. A place not to miss on the tour of St Petersburg

Well worth a visit. Tour only in Russian
