To be honest, if it weren't for Lilya's guide, we wouldn't have received so many positive emotions from the visit. At first, we walked by ourselves, moving quite quickly from exhibit to exhibit, but when Lilya joined us, we no longer ran anywhere, but listened attentively.Very calm, competent speech, the information is not boring, like from an encyclopedia, but very interesting. There were exhibits from the beginning of the new century (household items, tools), as well as clothing and armor from the 18th to the 19th century. It tells separately about the history of the formation of wine production. The museum has 2 halls, air conditioning, which is important in the summer.

The museum is small. There are signs in Georgian and English inside the stands. It is not difficult to translate them, but due to the fact that the exhibits are not numbered, it is sometimes impossible to understand where what is. I think tourists from all countries will be grateful to the administration if numbers appear next to the artifacts. Unfortunately, during our visit, the Russian-speaking guide (Lilya, who is so praised) fell ill, and no one could replace her.

The museum showed us the history of Georgia from the ancient period to the present. A very wonderful tour! We were shown all the halls, and we stopped at each exhibit for 5-10 minutes. They told me everything and answered all the questions. It's nice when people do everything with love! The tour took 1.5 hours in total. The museum itself is very beautiful and extensive in terms of exhibits and history.

A wonderful museum with interesting exhibits. Polite staff. However, I recommend visiting the museum only if accompanied by a guide (just like any other museum!). Our guide Lilia (I hope she remembered and spelled the name correctly) immersed us in different eras of Georgia. The tour lasted even a little longer than the stated time, but it flew by unnoticed for us (2 adults + a 13-year-old son)!

The museum has several halls with archaeological, ethnographic, and historical-cultural exhibits. The collections are very interesting, and the tours are entertaining.
