"The best hotel in Tbilisi" or how Marriott steals guests' belongings. Ruined vacation and zero responsibility Rating: 1/10 My husband and I stayed at the Paragraph Tbilisi Hotel from August 20 to 22. The hotel itself looks decent, but what happened after the check-out ruined all the good impressions. It was the most disgusting service situation in my life. When we left, my husband was in a hurry and left three things in the closet. It was only discovered missing the next day. I immediately went back to the hotel, hoping that it was in a decent establishment (and this is Marriott!) the guest's belongings are carefully stored. But that was not the case. At first, they told me at the reception that they hadn't found anything. I asked to call the manager. A young man named Luka came out. I described to him in detail what our things looked like, explained that we lived in such and such a room. He asked me to wait an hour. When I returned, Luka calmly stated that he had checked everything, looked through the cameras and found nothing. And, of course, nothing had been received by the "department of forgotten things". I was in shock. She offered to call the police. In response, I heard an indifferent: "Please, it's your right." Do you understand? They didn't care at all! Then we called our Georgian friend and asked him to step in. And lo and behold! An hour after his call, another employee, Anouki, called us back and asked us to come. When we arrived, Anouki took out our things in a regular bag. Of course, I asked how it happened that they "weren't there" this morning. Some kind of ridiculous story began about the fact that, according to Marriott regulations, forgotten items are first taken to the dry cleaner, and only then transferred to the forgotten items department. But the clothes were dirty, not from the dry cleaners. To my question "why?" Anouki replied: "We didn't have time." And when I asked why there was no record of the found items in the system, she just didn't say anything. She also refused to show the regulations themselves. Bottom line: if it hadn't been for the intervention of a local friend and the threat of a scandal, we would never have seen our belongings. Obviously, they were simply stolen or were going to be appropriated, and the whole story about dry cleaning was invented on the fly. The cost of things is about 2800 euros. And most importantly, when I asked about compensation for this ugly situation and ruined nerves, Anouki just spread her hands and said: "What can I offer you?" This is how the "best hotel in Tbilisi" solves the problems of guests. No apologies, no basic involvement, no desire to figure things out. Shame on Marriott! Be careful not to leave anything in the rooms, not even in the closet. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

01.08.2026. The cable car is working, but it only carries hotel guests. I specifically went to get information about this at the information desk on Freedom Square. The stars in the review are only because it was necessary to put something. I haven't been to the hotel itself.
