We learned about this restaurant from friends, they recommended it to us. The food is delicious, the serving is fast and the dishes are beautifully decorated. Delicious drinks. Compliment tea and pohlav .....very very tasty . Pleasant atmosphere. When I'm in Istanbul, I'll definitely come back.

We were lucky to live next to this restaurant, and on the very first evening the manager of our hotel advised us to visit it. Food: the dishes are large, delicious, the prices are above average, but it's worth it. Anatolian and Ottoman cuisine, stone oven pastries, fish menu, traditional snacks for 300-350 lira. The average price of the main course is 1000 lire. A full meal for a family of 4 with drinks cost twice 5500-6000 liras. Menus in different languages can be viewed on the website in advance or on the spot (there will be no paper ones). Service: unobtrusive, but very attentive. The atmosphere is cozy, clean, relaxed, green, sunny (or shaded under a canopy), the toilet has everything you could wish for and could use. Outdoor heaters and blankets. Luxury tableware. Compliment: hot tortilla from the oven and olives before, tea and baklava after (the latter is not always offered))) A real gastronomic event, when you not only eat, but also relax!

We visited the Garden restaurant twice in mid-February. A very pleasant atmosphere, both in the courtyard and indoors. I would like to thank the waiters Erme and Risa for the wonderful service. We visited the Garden 1897 Restaurant and were completely delighted — no wonder the place has a 5.0 rating! The atmosphere immediately immerses you in comfort: a green courtyard, neat details in the spirit of an old mansion, a light shade from the trees — as if you had temporarily dropped out of a bustling city. We ordered grilled kebab and sea bass: the meat was juicy and spicy, the fish was tender, without unnecessary heaviness, with a perfect crust. For dessert, we took baklava — crispy on the outside and stringy-sweet on the inside, exactly the kind you want to remember after a trip. I would like to mention the service separately: the waiters are unobtrusive, but always there when needed, and they perfectly prompt you on the menu. The prices are adequate for this level of cuisine and serving. The pleasant thing is that the restaurant is open around the clock, so you can stop by for a late dinner after a long walk. I definitely recommend it, I want to come back again!

We have visited many restaurants in the center of Istanbul, this one is definitely the best. We even returned a second time, although this is not in our rules. The atmosphere is very pleasant, you really sit in the garden, excellent service and, most importantly, the cuisine (in this restaurant it is close to European). The price tag is quite acceptable (with beer, raki and the most expensive dishes on the menu - 170 euros for three). The pleasure of visiting the place is worth it. I recommend.

I visited it during the New Year holidays of 2022-2023, the prices were just surprisingly comfortable, and since I lived in the hotel next door, it was an ideal option, I had dinner there every evening. It came out from 350 rubles to 1500 rubles (with a glass of wine) . And when I arrived in Istanbul in the spring of 2023, I was stunned by the prices in the same restaurant x*3, and somewhere else *5, and we already lived in the hotel where this restaurant operates.
