Walking along Karlsplatz (Stachus), you can see a grandiose, monumental building with sculptures and obelisks on the facade, on the roof, with columns, as well as a dome 66 meters high, the central risalite adorns the Bavarian coat of arms, looking at the excellent building, you might think that this is another royal palace, but it is an active courthouse owned by the ministry justice. We are talking about the Palace of Justice (Justizpalast) in Munich, which was built at the end of the nineteenth century in a luxurious style of architecture: neo-Baroque with elements of the Neo-Renaissance. The interior is pompous, marble columns, stairs give an impressive look. You can take a self-guided tour in English or German in the building. The magnificent Neptune Fountain is located opposite the palace. There is an old botanical garden next to the palace.
