The theater to which my grandmother Magdalena Karpovna Gurdjian (Khoshafyan), a native of the village of Chaltyr (Rostov region, Russia), devoted her entire creative life. In 1943, she graduated from the Yerevan Theater College and entered the Artashat State Theater, where she played in 200 productions for more than 50 years. Honored Artist of the Armenian SSR.
