Level 30 Local Expert

An eclectic architectural monument with Archaic and neo-Gothic elements. It was built in 1800 (according to other sources — in the second half of the 19th century) from rubble stone and brick. The traditions of the gentry of that time were the construction of family crypts and chapels. After the Egyptian expedition of Napoleon in 1798-1801, European aristocrats were in fashion for hobbies in the history of Ancient Egypt, mysticism, and ancient religions. In addition, the nobility of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth took part in Napoleon's African campaign. It is known that Kazimir Zawisha himself was part of the expedition to Egypt. The pyramid is included in The State list of historical and Cultural values of the Republic of Belarus.
