Probably one of the best cafes in Brest. My husband and I have a favorite place, and when my aunt comes from Europe, she always goes here with all her friends to relax. The cuisine is great, the food is always delicious, the service is excellent, the service is top notch. Special thanks to the receptionist and the waiters🥰❤️ All the staff are very friendly and helpful, thank you for your hard work! 🫶🏽 A special wish from my husband on tar-tar: this is his favorite dish and he loves it most of all in this institution, but lately they have started making it in too large chunks and the recipe seems to have changed a little, so we would be happy if they chop it smaller so that the taste is the same as before. Thanks!

Rating: 4 --- Carpe Diem (34 Sovetskaya St.) — the food is good, but the prices for drinks are surprising We visited this spacious and atmospheric establishment on a weekday. We took the lunch menu: soup with meatballs, Caesar salad and schnitzel with mashed potatoes. It's delicious, satisfying, and the portions are good — there are no questions about the food. The lunch itself (without drinks) cost 22.50 BYN, which is quite adequate for the center of Brest and this level of establishment. But what really puzzled me was the prices of tea and coffee. Tea (450 ml) — 8 BYN is acceptable, but cappuccino (240 ml) — 9 BYN.Somehow they offended the coffee with something. At the same time, in ordinary coffee shops, the volume is larger and the price is lower. For that kind of money, you'd expect either a bigger volume or a more refined pitch. So far, it looks unreasonably expensive against the background of the main menu. Otherwise, everything is fine. Special thanks to the waitress Daria: pleasant, attentive, professional — such staff create a good mood.Of course, she seemed to have some kind of supervision in my address , but we'll miss this moment...The atmosphere at Carpe Diem is really relaxing: the place is large, bright, cozy, and even during rush hour there is no crowding.😉 Bottom line: food is a solid four, service and furnishings are also a four, but the pricing policy for drinks confuses the overall impression that caught your eye in a short time. I recommend it for a business lunch, but take only food, and it's better to finish your coffee at a nearby coffee shop. The establishment is good, but there is something to strive for in terms of price balance. 👍🔥✊
