I will say this: one of the best restaurants in Grodno. Amazing French onion soup, served straight from the oven in classic style. A good Argentinean semi-dry white, bakst salad and Wellington beef. Beautiful view from the veranda of the old castle and houses. We were probably lucky, we arrived on Thursday afternoon, almost all the tables were either occupied or booked, but we sat down in the very center of the hall. I would love to come back here again if I wasn't passing through)

Many thanks to the Bakst restaurant for a wonderful evening! It was already quite late when we arrived in Grodno, so we didn't have to count on a full-fledged dinner elsewhere. But here we were greeted very warmly, despite the lateness of the hour. The chefs stayed on purpose and continued to work for us — it's worth a lot! The cuisine is beyond praise: everything we ordered was incredibly delicious, the portions were decent, and the service was beautiful. It is clear that the products are fresh, and the dishes are prepared with a soul. I would like to mention the location separately — the restaurant is located in the very heart of Grodno, the historical atmosphere adds a special charm. Very cozy and warm. Thanks to the staff for their attention and professionalism. We will definitely come back and recommend Bakst to our friends!

A great place for a family dinner with a great location!We had dinner here with our family on Friday evening and were absolutely delighted. The location of the restaurant is amazing — it is located on a hill in the heart of Grodno, just a stone's throw from Sovetskaya pedestrian street and castles. It was already cool, so we were sitting inside, but we managed to look at their summer terrace — it offers a great, very picturesque view of the Neman River.The menu is very interesting, as it seemed to us, with a focus on European and French cuisine. The choice of dishes is really good. We ordered onion soup and beef Wellington. The food is just great! The meat was cooked perfectly — tender, soft and perfectly chewed.I would like to mention the organization separately: a wedding was held in parallel in the restaurant, but the banquet was in a separate room, so no one interfered with anyone at all. The staff is very pleasant and attentive. We definitely recommend you to visit!

I liked the place , in general . Excellent location in the center , pleasant interior, kitchen on the level. Only the service did not attract a high rating - I constantly had to look for waiters, there were no appliances, or napkins... The onion soup was good, the steaks, like the signature salad, seemed slightly raw, they weren't interested in the degree of roasting, and there was no choice of bottled wine at all. There is no children's menu, parking is available nearby. The price tag in rubles is quite tolerable.

Now I'm "trying to force myself" (from an anecdote) myself, just for the sake of promising our waiter Ismail. He's doing great. He was friendly and served our table well. All meals and drinks were served on time and without delay, considering that we were in a hurry for an evening tour of the Castle. They wanted to mark his professional work with tips, but it turned out that it was impossible to pay for them with a card in the restaurant... and there were no cash Belarusian rubles from the word "at all". (Therefore, it remains for me to write kind words to him, at least in the review...) R.S. It was this restaurant that we chose from the list of establishments recommended by the hostess of our mini-hotel, and we did not regret it. The interior tends to "5". The view of the bend of the river and the terrace opening from the restaurant, too. I'm sure that in high season, there will also be a "5".) Kitchen -5. I would especially like to mention "my" dish - beef, baking all "5+" in a thin dough. My husband and niece also praised their orders from salad to dessert. As a result, we had a delicious and high-quality dinner. At the same time, the prices, as it seemed to me, are not higher than in other restaurants and cafes in Grodno that we happened to visit. Service and atmosphere - 5. Apart from Ismail, all the staff I had to contact were also friendly and helpful. I recommend the restaurant.)

The place is atmospheric, the music adds a relaxed mood, the service is fast, but the prices are undeservedly high. The menu is ambiguous - Tom Yam, generally based on motives - not to take for sure, Julienne is good, but no more, what I really liked was cherry strudel and raspberry-linden tea! Our service was unsuccessful. The waiter constantly had to remind the order: to bring drinks, individual plates for general snacks . They forgot to bring the juice to the child on time , so they had to refuse . The last straw was that before lunch , both the receptionist and the waiter were told to congratulate the birthday boy with a dessert with candles - as a result , they also forgot . Please work on improving the quality of service. The impression remained blurred .

We came for lunch with 5-star reviews.. in fact: there was no branded salad, the menu is peculiar. The order was sooooo long, and the room was empty (only 2 tables were occupied), and there was a banquet in the next room (apparently all the chefs' work had gone there).. as a result: all the food is completely ordinary and nothing "bright and outstanding", unfortunately (dessert was expected from the moment the dishes were presented for as long as 40 minutes🫣

Escaping from the rain, we wandered into the Bakst restaurant in the afternoon. There were many empty tables both in the hall and on the veranda. A cozy atmosphere. There are comments on the dishes. There was a warm turkey liver salad. I could feel the freshness of the greens and the freshly cooked liver, but there should be a cranberry confit dressing on the menu. The confit was not felt there, it seemed to be watered with something completely liquid and small hard pressed bones (from a pomegranate???) were constantly felt, this was disturbing and alarming. According to the chef, there should be no seeds in the salad, so what did I eat?))) The strudel was delicious, there was a lot of filling, which was very tasty from cherries and walnuts, although the dough could have been more crumbly and dried, in this dessert it was a little uncooked and very dense. There are no complaints about draniki - they are delicious and toasty. The toothpicks, individually packaged, were on the table in a cup, every last one of them black with mold. I won't come here a second time.

I really liked the restaurant. We ordered many different dishes. It was delicious. The hot stuff had to wait for 25-30 minutes. I was especially impressed by the dish with a chop that you can eat) The croutons were served hot a couple of minutes after ordering. Very tasty) The prices for everything are reasonable. For 2 soups, a portion of toast, 3 glasses of beer, 3 second courses, tea, I paid about 135-140 rubles.

Perhaps the wife did not express her wishes very clearly and was misunderstood, but a similar situation occurred with the guests at the next table. So it's already a trend. In addition, this girl was somewhat aggressive, on the verge of rudeness. That's why it's 4, not 5.

A great place to eat! The restaurant is located within walking distance from the Old and New Castles, right next to the fire tower. We arrived at the time of the business lunch and two menus were brought to us. One is lunch, the other is original, a restaurant with a bar menu, etc. We ordered a couple of items from both menus. Salad, soup, hot dishes, cocktail and dessert. The dishes didn't wait long, probably, because they admired the views from the large panoramic windows. They did not sit on the terrace because of the strong wind, although there are comfortable sofas and hanging nest chairs. And what struck us the most was the timely and systematic delivery! As soon as one plate was emptied, a new one appeared in its place. That's really a credit for it! In other restaurants, if you order several items, they will (almost) bring them to you immediately, and while you eat one, the other will cool down a hundred times. It was, of course, not very pleasant. But this is something else entirely. As if we were being followed (in a good way). Very tasty dishes and excellent service. Not loud music, as in many restaurants, but calmly unobtrusive playing somewhere from somewhere. If you eat in Grodno, then only Bakst!!!

3.07 There was a wedding at the Bakst establishment. Preparations for this event have been going on for six months, and imagine my indignation when the guests saw this picture!!! Does the management of the institution consider this the norm? This location was chosen for the view, for the panoramic room!!!! According to the agreements, this is a separate topic: in November 2025, an advance payment of 600 rubles was made. The conditions in the establishment were announced as follows: the total amount of the deposit is 6,000 BEL. rub., then the hall and the terrace are at our disposal, we bring our alcohol, juices, drinks, sweets, and fruits - only from the establishment. We were satisfied with this, because it was originally planned for 34 people, this option suited us. And imagine my surprise when, a week before the wedding, we coordinate the menu and we are told that it turns out there is a cork fee of 15 rubles per person (which no one warned about in November), but let's say this practice exists in some establishments, I can accept it. BUT we can't have our own juices and drinks, we have to buy them at the restaurant!!!! How's that? We had to order lemonades-drinks of your production at 8 rubles per liter, which I did not need at my event at all, because the juice and drink card is extremely limited in choice, and apple juice - at 12.50 rubles per liter. This is an error by the administrator who said the wrong conditions initially. The only concession we made was to be allowed to bring a coke. It's not the first time I've organized banquets, all restaurants always have their own drinks and juices with a certain amount of deposit, and in such tight conditions we had to put up with this, and only because we couldn't find another location. The restaurant is in the city center, and it was probably not possible to put the windows in order for the event. It's good that at least the weeds that I mentioned 3 times were removed!!!! But the overall impression of the hall was hopelessly spoiled - dirty glass and a neglected view of the terrace negated all our expectations from the panorama. In terms of cuisine, this is not the level of a banquet for such money for 32 people! There was a shortage in the weight of the second hot one. There were 6 plateaus of 1.5 kg each in the receipt, and there were 5 of them on the tables. Unfortunately, this was clarified with the guests only the next day, and, of course, no one took pictures. But it's more for your future clients to think very carefully about whether important events should be held in your institution! Personally, I strongly do not recommend this "platform"-neither the service, nor the honesty, nor the cleanliness here correspond to the declared level. It's a shame that such a significant day was overshadowed by unprofessionalism and petty savings on customers.

We went to Bakst for lunch.Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be extremely unsuccessful. The broth was brought in lukewarm, and it tasted like instant soup from a packet. The ciabatta was disappointing: it was served with ice-cold butter, which could not be spread. It was lying right on a piece of baking paper. By the way, about the number of pieces — if we hadn't specified them when ordering, we would have just counted them ourselves (there was a choice between 4 and 8 on the menu). The order for sweet potatoes was lost. We waited for the dish for forty minutes, after which we had to cancel it. I had to literally search the room for the waiter to find out the order status. A separate disadvantage is the terrace. We were seated at a dirty table, which no one was in a hurry to wipe. There was an unpleasant smell in the air.

We were in Grodno for two days. The first time we went to Bakst was at lunch. And we were endlessly fascinated by the atmosphere, the interiors, the musical selection and, of course, the dishes. And we decided to put the final point of our stay in Grodno here. Since it was Friday, I called and booked a table. I was warned that there would be "special maintenance" in the room where I originally wanted to be. It was expected, so it didn't bother me at all. But in fact, it turned out that this event could be heard in every corner of the restaurant. And there was neither the atmosphere nor the magic that had charmed us the day before. For some reason, even the tea was not as delicious as the day before. Everything else was delicious, the wait was not long, the waiters were very friendly… But we came to the conclusion that we would probably still choose other days and times to visit on our next visit to the city.

The restaurant, from the threshold to the most secluded corners, is imbued with the spirit of the work of the famous artist Leon Bakst, a native of Grodno. Images of his paintings on the walls in the lobby, on the doors and windows in the interior, as well as his quotes transferred to the walls and even the ceiling create a feeling of fullness, awareness, depth of meaning... Yes, indeed, Bakst did not disappoint. We were a group of 6 people with different tastes (i.e. from fans of Asian cuisine to fans of French delights), everyone found something to their taste and everyone was satisfied. Even the dishes from the business lunch menu turned out to be decent. Onion soup is wonderful, in a salad with warm liver it is really present in the right quantity and quality, not three dried pieces; mushroom soup and even tom yam were highly appreciated))) the fondue spread beautifully. The dishes of Belarusian cuisine were also successful. The prices are quite adequate, the establishment itself is fresh, the interior is not gloomy and "with a twist" on Bakst motifs.

And this time I visited, the tom-yam is disgusting, not on coconut milk, although they asked if it was on coconut milk, they said it was on coconut, it was salty. Tomatoes are crushed, although they should be whole. I took boiled pork with salad from hungry eyes, you can eat it. But the vegetables were obviously cooked in old oil.

Hello to all readers! We visited this restaurant and honestly had mixed feelings. Interesting and atmospheric design of the restaurant. The food is excellent. You can lick all the dishes. Convenient table arrangement. We came across a place with a gorgeous view from the window. The waiters' work is excellent. But to be honest, the cutlery and pieces of furniture are already a little tired. The prices are acceptable for us, but if you think about the realities of Belarus, it's probably still a bit expensive. Nearby there are tourist sites, excellent walking routes, and the embankment. There is a private parking lot and a large enough one behind the restaurant. I recommend a visit. (But I'm also writing a review in the hope that someone from the restaurant staff will notice, pass it on to someone, and very minor but noticeable misunderstandings will disappear) Good luck to all and have a great trip.

The best restaurant in Grodno, in my opinion. The original author's cuisine, the dishes are interesting, appetizing, beautifully decorated. Stylish rooms with memorable interiors, spacious, large squares, magnificent views of the castle and panoramas of the city. I liked Bakst salad and Florentine Liver the most. The staff is helpful, the waiting time is acceptable. We were with my wife twice, and we were satisfied both times.

bakst restaurant in Grodno does not deserve its high rating at all. the food is mediocre and absolutely does not match the price tag. the atmosphere seems slightly collective farm — the overall impression is greatly spoiled by cheap paper placemats on the tables, as in an ordinary dining room. there is no wow effect from the kitchen: they managed to spoil the tar-tar with mayonnaise, and the potatoes were brought to the meat completely burnt and disgusting in appearance. as an apology for the ruined dish, the staff offered a free dessert, but this compliment did not save the situation. I don't recommend this place. expensive and tasteless.

Unfortunately, I didn't believe the reviews. The restaurant was disappointing. They didn't warn me that there was a wedding in the next room, which made it noisy and unbearable to chat under the eternal "bitter". If they had been warned, they would have given up in favor of another place. The seats were covered in crumbs. The portions looked funny, especially the octopus. And unfortunately, they didn't leave a pleasant impression on the taste either.

We came to dinner with our family, ordered a seafood set, in which there were rings of squid in the batter, not fried (the squid meat was transparent) and the oysters were not fully cooked and had an unpleasant smell. We informed the waiter about this, and he said that he would find out everything from the chef and give us an answer. When I returned, I said that it was normal and they always cook like this. Definitely, I do not recommend visiting this place, since they always cook like this!!!
