When I stepped into BAHROMA, the first thing that caught my attention was not the tables, the food, or even the décor. It was the place’s own deep, green stillness, as if it belonged to another time. Outside, Saint Petersburg continued with its cold air, stone facades, and restless rhythm that always seems to hurry people somewhere. But beyond the door, the city suddenly felt far away. The dark green seats, the warm lights hanging from above, the tables half-hidden among the plants, and that subtle Eastern grandeur carried by the walls… perhaps everything was a little too carefully arranged, yet that was precisely why it worked. You do not feel as though you are simply coming here for dinner. You feel as though, for a few hours, you have stepped onto the set of another world. Once I sat down, the sounds around me began to blend together: Russian conversations, the soft sound of plates being placed on tables, the delicate clink of glasses, and the aroma of spices drifting out from the kitchen. If a restaurant can have a language of its own, BAHROMA does not speak loudly. It sits beside you and tells its story slowly throughout the evening. What I remember most is not the food itself, but the sense of time that formed around it. Some bites satisfy your hunger; others carry you to places you have never been. The warmth of the spices, the scent of the meat, the small and almost ceremonial moment when the bread arrives at the table… In the middle of Saint Petersburg, you forget for a while that you are in the north. It feels as though you have moved several thousand kilometers south on the map, and only your body has noticed. But for me, the true beauty of the evening was something else: despite all its liveliness, the place still leaves room for a small and private kind of solitude. Sometimes you look at the person sitting across from you. Sometimes at your own reflection in the window. And sometimes nowhere at all, simply listening to life unfolding around you. In moments like that, you realize that some restaurants are not merely places where people gather. They are quiet stops where you suddenly become aware of which season of your life you are living through. That is what BAHROMA became for me. When I stepped back outside, Saint Petersburg was still the same Saint Petersburg. The streets had not changed, the air had not changed, and the city had not waited for me. And yet, for a few hours, I had carried the warmth of another geography on my skin. Sometimes that is exactly what I want from a place: not simply to feed me, but to let me leave with the feeling that, for a few brief moments, I am not quite the same person who walked in.

Приехали с женой в отпуск, в первый день нашли для себя это место И практически всю неделю приходили сюда ужинать Даже после выезда из отеля заглянули чтобы позавтракать Отличное место по соотношению цена-качество Очень богатый выбор блюд - за неделю так и не удалось попробовать всё меню, хотя мы ни разу не повторялись (за исключением хинкалей, они тут просто огонь 🔥) Вежливый персонал, всегда учитывали наши пожелания Однажды у нас была цель- поужинать за полчаса, официант подсказал какие позиции они смогут приготовить за 15 минут (плов), и мы получили блюда и напитки даже меньше чем за 10 минут В общем получили кучу положительных впечатлений
