If you are in Konya, visit the archaeological museum, especially since it is free, which is rare in Turkey against the background of ticket prices for foreigners. It is open from 8 to 16-30. The room is small, the sarcophagi inside deserve attention, there are also tombstones in the courtyard, and several statues. Get from the center (Selim Mosque)the museum can be reached on foot, a maximum of 15 minutes. Since the route goes through the Grand Bazzar, the time may increase. Nearby there are also places of interest recommended for tourists (madrasahs, mosque and museum of someone), but they are all under restoration. This fall, there are many historical sites in the city that have been closed for restoration, which is a pity. Fortunately, Mevlyan's mausoleum is open.

We left on Sunday at 16:00. It is located in the center of Konya, a 5-minute walk from Alaaddin Hill. It is not very big, but there are many kinds and many pieces of sarcophagi, historical artifacts with inscriptions. There are a large number of pieces compiled from Konya-specific environmental ancient excavations. Not only archaeological artifacts, but also other tools of civilization are exhibited. It is very secluded and easily navigable. Sincerely.

One of the best museums. It is small, but it exhibits exhibits that are difficult to find and see in large museums. It's free.

It was interesting to see this museum among the slums. Free admission, few exhibits. But it was interesting to see some of them. If you're around, you won't regret it.

It's no worse than Istanbul. At the same time, it's free and without crowds of tourists.
