The statue is so dirty, so unkempt, it was probably painted 100 years ago and so abandoned ... it's clear that no one cares, no care for their monuments. Armenians should be ashamed of this. And despite the fact that the statue stands at the Armenian government!! Can't anyone see how badly this monument is in?

The monument to Aram Manukyan, a statesman and military figure, one of the founders of the First Republic of Armenia, is located on Republic Square next to the metro station of the same name. The monument was erected not so long ago, in 2018, and caused a lot of controversy. Aram is depicted in full-length and wrapped in the flag of Armenia.
