Unfortunately, the level of organization in the theater was disappointing. The late-arriving audience continued to be launched into the orchestra seats even 35 minutes after the start of the concert. Moreover, the theater staff helped them find seats right during the action, actively gesturing. All this was distracting and disturbing. Sitting in front of the audience 4 times!!!! They were lifted to let latecomers or people leaving and returning to the hall pass. All this happened after the start of the concert and constantly distracted from what was happening on stage. I also didn't like the sound quality. For a theater with such a history and reputation, you would expect a higher level of culture and respect for the audience who arrived on time. In my opinion, this practice creates an atmosphere of permissiveness and disrespect for artists and audiences who follow the rules of visiting the theater.

We stayed at the hotel at this theater for the May holidays. On the last evening before the plane, a Man in a tie and an angel attended the performance. The excellent acting helped us to understand the content of the play without knowing the Georgian language. The theater undoubtedly has its own audience, the small hall is always full. I think that the game touched not only us. There were a lot of teenage schoolchildren in the hall, and their sincere reaction, without the herd desire inherent in this age to show off in front of classmates, made it impossible to doubt that the characters were living and not playing their roles. Now we are obsessed with the idea of finding the play in order to understand why there was such a denouement at the end of the play. I bow low and thank the actors!

Yesterday we unexpectedly got to the theater, there were no flights, but the administrator George ordered to put extra chairs for us, and we enjoyed staging the play "Thunderstorm" on the small stage of the theater. In the center, next to the subway, the entrance is around the corner of the building. A small room with an excellent seating arrangement provides a good view from all points. It so happened that on the site of the Griboyedov Theater they watched not a classical drama, but a performance by the National Ballet,,Metekhi,,. There are two entrances to the theater: through the shopping center,, Gallery,, (shopping center) and if you go up the stairs to the right of the shopping center and turn left (this entrance is not always open). The theater is small, but comfortable, with good acoustics and a convenient seating arrangement (the people sitting in front do not interfere at all). From the 6th row, the review is wonderful. Masters of Georgian and Russian art worked and performed in the theater at one time, information about which can be found on the walls of the theater. I really liked the production.

We watched the wonderful play "Emigrants", based on the play by the Czech author Slav Mrozeka, the magnificent performance of the actors, Dmitry Lukin's performance was especially impressive, and on stage there is a real Georgian apartment for rent, and a very vital situation. I was at the play "Don't Grieve." Delight! The production, based on the film by George Danelia, conveys the atmosphere of his best works: there is gentle humor, subtle sadness, and the very lightness behind which deep reflections on life are hidden. Interestingly, in addition to direct video quotes, at the level of plasticity, the "same" characters were felt. At the same time, the play is not just a theatrical adaptation, but an independent work with its own plasticity and rhythm. With all the minimalism, there is dynamics, grace, and play with light. The finds of set design. Strong visual metaphors. The performance turned out to be airy and bright. There is no place for despair in it - it warms the soul. In general, it is a brilliant balance between buffoonery and sincerity, a lively, dynamic world where real depth lies behind the external simplicity. I definitely recommend it. I bow low to the actors and the director.

Great perplexity was caused by the play "The Scarlet Flower", which is a COMPLETE replica of the Disney cartoon "Beauty and the Beast" in 1991. Absolutely everything - the text, the music, the plot - was stripped from Disney. What does Aksakov's fairy tale have to do with it - deep, kind, wise - is completely unclear. In this case, why give the play the name "Scarlet Flower"?.. The performance was distinguished from the cartoon only by the names of the characters - Alyonushka instead of Belle and Anton instead of Gaston, the presence of two sisters (of course, stupid and bad), a scarlet flower instead of a rose, and the image of the father, unconvincingly interpreted in the Aksakov style. Songs with a soundtrack - it's obvious that the bar is too high. The soundtrack hits the ears, the soundtracks are two. The impression was brightened only by the actors - the actress playing Belle, that is, Alyonushka, was impetuous, tremulous and quite convincing. The trio of Lumiere, Coxworth and Fifi decorated the performance. The game of the rest is at the level of the provincial house of culture, alas.

What do we expect when we go to the theater? - a sight -costumes -decorations - excellent diction -a well-honed game None of the above was present at this performance. Once upon a time, at the Kazan railway station in Moscow, as a small child, I wanted to eat, I asked my grandfather to buy a pie. He dissuaded me, saying that at the station they cook for passers-by, that is, in a hurry - it is of poor quality and tasteless. After watching this performance, I drew parallels and realized that, apparently, this performance can be attributed to performances for passers-by. PS if your height is 180 and above, do not take tickets on the balcony on the 3rd row. You will be exhausted, because there is less space for knees than in any of the most greedy low-cost airlines.
