Locals call this building the "Tbilisi Hogwarts" because of its distinctive spires and neo-Gothic architecture. Architecture really attracts attention. The building was built in the historic district of Sololaki in the early 20th century, presumably by architect Alexander Ozerov. I wanted to go inside, it was the holidays and the school was empty. The main staircase with wooden railings is very beautiful, arches on the 2nd floor. Otherwise, it looks like an ordinary post-Soviet school with corridors and classrooms. After talking with the staff, it turned out that at the moment it is a comprehensive paid private school with advanced study of the German language.

It is one of the oldest school buildings in Tbilisi, which was built by architect Alexander Ozerov in 1903-1905 for the 3rd girls' school. Throughout the century of its existence, the building has always served as a school and currently belongs to the authorized school No. 6. Its architecture is an excellent example of the Neo-Gothic style*, and most of the authentic architectural details have survived to this day. The restoration of the building began in 2012, designed by Swiss architect Thomas Cryer.

It was a former girls' gymnasium before the revolution, but now it is a secondary school. The facade is beautiful.

It's been a long time since we tourists have been kicked out of tourist sites. The doors are open, the tour is underway, we don't look threatening, we are ordinary peaceful tourists. The woman at the entrance reacted to us like a demon to holy water. A simpler face.
