I can't register because my phone number is linked to another account

You can only link your phone number to one account in Yandex Tasks. You must have logged in with a different username before. Remember which one it was and use it to log in to Yandex Tasks. If you can't remember it, restore access.

According to the User Agreement:

  • A user can only have one account in Yandex Tasks.
  • A user can't register twice.
  • A user must have a unique phone number.
How do I change the phone number in my account?

Go to your Yandex ID and change the main phone number. After you've changed the number, you won't be able to withdraw money for a week.

Where do I find my username and email in Yandex Tasks?

You can find your username in the lower- left corner of the , next to your profile picture. Press your picture to see your username and email.

I don't remember my username or password

If you don't remember your username or password, go to the Restore access page.

Duplicate registration in Yandex Tasks

According to the User Agreement:

  • You can only have one account.
  • You can't restore a deleted account.
  • You can't register in Yandex Tasks twice.
I'm trying to register in Yandex Tasks, but I'm getting a message that I need to specify my email

There's a chance that you registered in Yandex ID but didn't add your email, or the email was deleted or blocked. In this case, go to your Contacts in Yandex ID and enter your Yandex email address.

I have an email with the Yandex domain. Can I use it to register and complete tasks?

If you've created that account yourself, feel free to use it. If someone else has done it for you (for example, your employer or administrator), it might be risky, because someone can delete your profile. In this case, you won't be able to log in to the platform and will lose all your skills and the money you've earned.

It's safer to create a profile using your personal Yandex ID. This will help you avoid access issues.

Question about account blocking
Why has my account been blocked?

You can find the most common blocking reasons and tips for avoiding it under How to be a successive performer.

Depending on the reason of your block, you can get:

  • An automatic notification about the blocking.
  • A message about the blocking and its reason on the task list page, in your profile, and on the My money page.
  • A message from the administrator about the possibility of unblocking.

If unblocking is possible, follow the instructions from the message and wait for reply. The review usually takes a few days.

My account's been blocked. Can I delete it?

If you want to delete your account and stop using Yandex Tasks instead of unblocking it, contact support.

Question about profile
Why don't I see some of my skills in my profile?

Not all skills you get may be displayed in your profile. It depends on the skill settings and the task features.

Can several performers use the same account to complete tasks?

No, giving your account to someone else is a violation of the User Agreement.

How do I choose a task?

The list of tasks shows the tasks available to you at the moment. To start with paid tasks:

  1. Complete the training and sample tasks to get more skills and unlock access to more paid tasks.

  2. Set up your task feed:

    • Add the tasks you're interested in to your favorites.
    • Hide the tasks you don't want to complete.
    • Filter and sort your tasks the way you like.
  3. Choose a task and start working on it.

What's the purpose of demo mode?

In demo mode, you can check out unpaid demo tasks before you fill out the questionnaire so you know what to expect.

After you get access to paid tasks, some of them will have unpaid training tasks and exams. They help to train performers and test their skills.

Low task price

The price of each task depends on its difficulty and the time for completion. Simple tasks that don't require special skills or a lot of time to complete are paid less than more difficult ones. However, the better you cope with such tasks, the higher their price gets and the more chances you have to get a bonus from the author.

Average earnings

The average earnings you see in a task card is how much in average you get paid per hour for this task.

How do I remove a task from the Active list?

After the set period of time, the task is removed from the Active list automatically and is returned to the home page. You can also remove a task manually. Go to the task. In the bottom, press ExitExit. For your convenience, you can reserve tasks. If you can't complete tasks from Active for some reason, this doesn't affect the availability of other tasks or your metrics in Yandex Tasks.

Question about task content
Task has 18+ content

According to the User agreement, tasks can cover adult content (including pornography). Your actions in Yandex Tasks related to adult content are legal. Yandex Tasks comply with the laws of the Russian Federation and are also aimed to detect offensive or pornographic content. If such content is unacceptable for you, go to your profile and turn off I agree to perform tasks that contain adult content.

The task asks to record a video or send a photo

Some authors place tasks that require the performer to record a video or audio, or send a photo. Such tasks don't violate our rules. However, if you don't want to complete them for some reason, choose another available task.

Question about a particular task

Write a message to the requester who posted the task.

I want to complete a particular task, but it's not on the list anymore

If a desired task is not displayed anymore, it might have already been completed, or you might have not performed it correctly, or maybe you don't meet the criteria set by the author. While this task is not displayed, you can work on another one. The desired tasks may appear again later.

What should I do if I received a task that I do not want to complete?

Your feed displays available tasks you can choose from.

If you've started a task and then changed your mind about completing it, press Exit.

How do I stop task completion correctly if I've decided to take a break?

Press the Exit button.

If you've answered all questions on the page, press Submit and exit.

The task list is empty

Make sure that:

  • You've selected at least one requester or filter in the task list.
  • You've selected Russian in your profile section.

If you agree to perform 18+ tasks, make sure you turned on I agree to perform tasks that contain adult content in your profile.

Access to microphone and camera

To complete certain tasks, you need to set up access to your device's microphone and camera. You can allow access in your browser settings. For information about how to do this, see the instructions for your browser.

Select a browser

Make sure that camera and microphone access is allowed in your device OS settings:

Access to camera:

  1. Press StartSettingsPrivacy.
  2. Select Camera in the menu on the left.
  3. Make sure Allow access to the camera on this device is turned on in the settings.
  4. Check that the list of apps that are allowed to access the camera contains the Camera item.

Access to microphone:

  1. Press StartSettingsPrivacy.
  2. Select Microphone in the menu on the left.
  3. Make sure Allow access to the microphone on this device is turned on in the settings.
  4. Check that the list of apps that are allowed to access the microphone contains the Voice Recorder item.

Technical questions
Which browsers does the platform support?

We recommend using the latest version of Yandex Browser because we thoroughly test all platform features for it. You can also use other modern browsers (Google Chrome, Opera, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox), but we don't test them, so we can't promise everything will work correctly.

The Submit button doesn't work for training tasks

You might have made mistakes in the task that prevent you to submit it.

How training works:

  1. You answer all questions on a page and press Submit.
  2. The system compares your answers with the correct ones provided by the author.
  3. If you made a mistake, you'll see a tooltip on a red background.
  4. You correct your answers for all the tasks with the tooltips.
  5. You press Submit.

After you've corrected all the answers with the tooltips, the training is completed. If you think your answer is correct, but the task is not accepted, take a screenshot of the page and send it to the project author.

Can several performers complete tasks from the same IP?

Performers can use the same IP for tasks, but they have to use different accounts. According to the User Agreement, a performer can only have one account in Yandex Tasks.

Can I use a third-party program or extension for refreshing pages, new task notifications, etc.

When you use such programs or browser extensions, your account can be blocked by our anti-fraud system. It's not allowed in Yandex Tasks, as all performers should be on equal terms. Besides, hackers can use such programs to access your account. Please, don't use any automation tools to get tasks.

Question about money withdrawal
"The phone number is already linked to another account"

Go to Yandex ID and link another phone number.

In Yandex Tasks, you can't use the same phone number for different accounts, even if an account was deleted. According to the User Agreement, you can only register in Yandex Tasks once.

How do I cancel a withdrawal?

Under Transaction history, press Cancel request. If you don't see the button, this means the request is being processed or has already been completed, and you can't cancel it even through the Yandex Tasks support.

My skill level dropped

The skill level shows how well you handle certain types of tasks. The skill level is set by the requester based on your responses. Questions about skill changes should be addressed to the requester.

What are awards for?

Awards help put your achievements on paper and learn more about Yandex Tasks features.

How long does it take to issue awards?

Awards appear in your profile within 24 hours after you meet the requirements. If it's past 24 hours but you still don't see the award, please contact support.

Something doesn't work on the platform
The task doesn't load, I only see a blank page

Try the following:

  • Clear the browser cache.
  • Disable antivirus and browser plugins, especially ad blockers and similar extensions.
  • Check your browser settings and make sure there's no restriction for loading any content (scripts, ads, etc.).
  • Temporarily disable electronic signature software and extensions.
  • Try opening Yandex Tasks in a different browser.

Note

You can try opening Yandex Tasks in Incognito mode. If tasks open in Incognito mode, the issue is due to extensions.
