Complete a task

On the Yandex Tasks home page, you can see the list of available tasks and pick the one you want to work on.

Go to the  Tasks tab. You'll see a list of available tasks grouped by type.

You can perform the following actions with the task in the list:

1. Read the instruction.

2. See the cost in USD.

3. Mark as favorite. Hover over the task card and press → Add to favorites. The task will be flagged with the mark.

4. Hide from the list. Hover over the task card and press → Hide task. To view your hidden tasks, use filters.

Set up your task list:

1. Display only your favorite tasks.

2. Sort tasks. Use one of the links above the task list. To change the sorting order, press the same link again.

3. Filter tasks.

   Available filters

   • With training: Tasks where you need to complete training before you get access to paid tasks.

   • With non-automatic acceptance: Tasks that you get paid for only after a review by the requester. You will only get paid for tasks that are properly and adequately completed.

   • 18+: Tasks with sensitive or adult content. See 18+ tasks to learn more.

   • Unavailable: Tasks that you can complete only if you meet certain conditions (for example, have a mobile device with the Yandex Tasks app installed, a different browser or OS). Specific details may be provided in the task instructions.

   • Hidden: Tasks that you've hidden by pressing the Hide task button. This filter can be helpful if you want to remove tasks from the hidden ones, view, or complete them.

18+ tasks18+ tasks

Tasks labeled as 18+ may contain sensitive or adult content, such as nudity, strong language, or photos and videos depicting violence. Requesters take this info from the internet, where it was uploaded by different users.

The purpose of these tasks is to label such content to help train the protection and content filtering algorithms. This is done to safeguard internet users, including children, from undesired content.

With projects like this, requesters want to make the internet safer. You can help them in their efforts.

In the task list choose a task and press Start. This will open the task page.

Task page interface:

1. Quick navigation to the Tasks, In progress, and Messages tabs.

2. Time left for completion.

3. Task type.

4. Task price.

5. Tips. Available options:

   • Hotkeys — keys you can use to perform the task.
   • About this page — tips about the interface.

6. Instructions. If you view the instructions while the timer keeps going. So you might want to check the instructions in the task list before you start.

7. Feedback. Available options:

   • Contact requester
   • Rate task
   • Report a violation

8. Switch to the full screen mode.

Complete a taskComplete a task

Select one of the options:

1. If you've completed a task but don't want to pick up the next one, press Exit → Submit and exit.

2. If you don't want to complete the task right now, press Exit → Exit. The task will return to the main pool.

3. If you want to skip a task and move to the next one in the set, press Skip at the bottom of the page.

4. If you've completed a task and want to move to the next one in the set, press Submit at the bottom of the page.
