A post-Soviet building! Nothing remarkable. Did you not understand why you need to pay an additional 3 GEL to drive straight to the entrance to the station? We were traveling by high-speed train from Tbilisi to Batumi, there is practically no way to buy food at the station itself, but when you go outside and stand with your back to the station, turn to the right, go to the end of the building and see a grocery store with quite affordable prices. There are not many passenger trains here. The station is not crowded.

The station tries to be modern. There are escalators, a food court, electronic queues, ATMs, a clean WC. Even modern trains depart from the station, from dilapidated Soviet platforms. There is an invariable Tbilisi patina in the whole appearance, a touch of slight negligence. There is no pedantic sterility. But maybe it's for the best. A kind of business card. I liked the train station. I recommend it!

The train station is certainly cool, especially the entrance to it. You go into the shopping center, take the escalator up to the second floor and there voila - the train station)) . No one is checking you out , no one is picking on you . There is a small queue at the entrance to the carriage , the usher checks each passenger 's ticket.
