An incredible museum! I'm not such a big fan of cars, but the museum made an amazing impression on me! It presents equipment from the 19th century to the present. The museum is huge with many levels. The beginning of the exhibition is at the very top, where you get to by elevator. Then you gradually go down. The exhibits are arranged in such a way that it is very comfortable for both adults and children to get acquainted with them. The museum also tells about the main events of world history, especially of the 20th and 21st centuries. There is a place to eat, and plenty of toilets. In general, I highly recommend it. Important: you only need to take S-bahn 1 from Stuttgart by public transport. The map shows that you can also take the U-bahn, but in fact the U11 and U19 trains only run during mass events at the nearby stadium.

Upon returning from another business trip to Germany, I flew through Stuttgart, where friends live, on the day of departure I had time in the morning and I decided to visit the Mercedes-Benz Museum. The ticket price is the same as in BMW-10 euros. But the layout of the museum and the history, of course, have their own. I enjoyed walking through the halls, from ancient cars of the early 20th century to Fomula-1 cars. There are interesting installations that can be tested. Downstairs, in the basement, there was a very interesting and unusual interactive exhibition dedicated to the capabilities of our brain, which added charm to the tour. Yes, it's funny that in one of the halls I involuntarily overheard a conversation between two museum curators who were whispering away from the visitors - in Russian (!) Language :). Our people are everywhere :)

An interesting collection of cars. An equally interesting selection of cars from private collectors (on the 1st floor). The inspection of the exhibits is organized in the form of a spiral descent (the beginning of the inspection is from the upper, in my opinion, 8th floor). This is similar to the Porsche Museum, only there is a bottom-up inspection. Important events (apparently from the point of view of the museum management) are displayed on the walls, along the left. There is a bias towards certain events in relation to the USSR - there is about the launch of the 1st space satellite, there is not about Gagarin's 1st space flight. But there is about the landing of Americans on the moon, about the collapse of the USSR. They also politely kept silent about Germany's loss in World War 2, but they told about the Marshall Plan ... In general, if the organizers of the museum wanted to tell about the development of the Mercedes brand in the context of history, then some of the historical events they cited are not directly related to this.
