On 03/15/2025, we celebrated our anniversary and birthday at the Khvamli restaurant.Great place, great cuisine. The portions are large, the food is delicious. I especially liked khinkali, mushrooms with cheese on ketse, shkmeruli with chicken, kubdari. The staff is polite and respectful. The evening was spent in a positive way. We had a very good rest. My friends suggested this place and now when I get to Orsha I always have lunch there. Excellent Georgian cuisine, probably one of the best in the country that I have tried. Pleasant, calm interior and decent service. There is a restaurant on the 2nd floor, and a cafe downstairs. The kitchen is unified. Dishes and snacks were placed on the table in a chaotic manner. Khinkali is not the most delicious-I would say tasteless. It was impossible to eat like that with mushrooms. There were 3 pieces of chicken floating in the container with the sauce. To say that I ate. No. It's a pity that I didn't take a photo and weigh the meat. We visited this place (I can't name a restaurant) last Saturday. I must say right away that there were practically no visitors at that time. The impression is an ordinary roadside cafe, there are only prices from the restaurant. I was immediately surprised that the waitress did not record the order. As a result, I had to remind her about shorty and sauce, even though she suggested them herself. We ordered kharcho, it seemed to be cooked well (huge chunks of good beef), but for some reason it was cold (room temperature). The cooks didn't even bother to heat yesterday's soup properly (they were smoking outside at that time). Then khinkali with mutton was served (delicious, juicy), but also pre-cooked and slightly heated in the microwave. I consider this attitude of chefs towards visitors inappropriate in an institution called a "restaurant". The only plus from us is for khachapuri in Megrelian (warm, lots of cheese, delicious dough). I will not recommend visiting this place to friends and acquaintances.
