Today we had dinner in this cozy and hospitable place. The atmosphere, the setting and most importantly the food are all at a very high level. The waiter told us in detail about all the items on the menu that interest us and helped us with the choice. The dishes were brought when ready, they are very large and delicious. Rating 5.0. But the restaurant does not pull on it. We ordered 2 different versions of lamb shish kebab. They brought 3 small dry pieces for each option. Khachapuri is delicious, khinkali is delicious. But the "barbecue" spoiled the whole impression. Especially in Armenia, where grilled dishes are very good on average.

The location is not bad. The service is so-so. The waiter was sleepy, sluggish, and not friendly. He did not add the dish to the order, although I repeated it 2 times. As a result, we waited and waited, and only at the end, when the family was already full, it turned out that my dish had not been brought in. The waiter didn't even apologize! I didn't want to wait any more, they left. An unpleasant sediment remained.

The guys are friendly, and the girl (either the admin or the waitress) was out of sorts. They didn't take the plates away for a long time, but they reacted quickly to the signals given. It's funny that there were about 10 waiters on the morning shift, despite the fact that at that time I was literally the only guest in the establishment. The interior is traditional Georgian, with dolls in the national.suits and covers with ornaments on chairs. I ordered a salad "mother-in-law's tongue", khinkali with beef (minimum portion - 5 pcs.) and eclair. The mother-in-law's tongue turned out to be not what I expected (according to the classics, these are eggplant rolls stuffed with tomatoes, cheese and garlic). It turned out that here it was a salad of chopped pickles, tongue and cheese sprinkled on top. I didn't like the salad - the cucumbers were too salty and there were too many of them, which interrupted the whole taste, and the tongue turned out to be hard. I do not recommend it. Khinkali is good - not 5/5, but definitely a four. Thin dough, rich broth and delicious meat. In vain they have a minimum portion of 5 pieces, so I would have ordered more other khinkali on trial. For dessert, I took an eclair - a rather large profiterole made of air dough with cream inside. I doubt they make it themselves, but overall I liked it.
