In August, we rested in Yelsk and visited the Museum of Local Lore, which presents several expositions: a hall dedicated to the work of the artist M. Zasinets; a hall dedicated to the theme of the Great Patriotic War, where photographs and documents about the participation of local residents in the partisan movement are collected; a hall representing the flora and fauna of the region; as well as a hall where household items and crafts of historical value. Despite the fact that the museum area is small, each exhibit has its own place. We were offered a guided tour, and we gladly agreed. I would like to thank the museum staff for their professionalism, creative approach to work and friendly attitude towards visitors!
