Towels were changed every day, and for the first time I noticed that in addition to slippers and everything necessary, there was also a waffle bathrobe in the room. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, close to the promenade, the beach, the market and the botanical garden. I liked the superior standard room for two: it has air conditioning, an LCD TV, a small refrigerator and even a safe in the desk. Wallpaper, furniture, blackout curtains, beige-brown carpet - beautiful and tasteful. The bed linen, towels and bathrobes are boiling white. The room is cleaned and towels are changed daily, not intrusively. The staff is polite and friendly. They will help you carry your suitcase, call a taxi, and arrange a transfer. The breakfasts in the restaurant are varied and hearty. I didn't have enough boiled coffee - they served only instant coffee. Lunch and dinner were not ordered, because it is very expensive: a plate of borscht costs 450 rubles. We ate in the canteen ("cage") nearby and the cafe "Nartaa" on the embankment - everything is very tasty and inexpensive there! Next to the hotel there is a private confectionery "OMI", where they sell delicious cakes, khachapuri and brew coffee in a turk. We went there every day on the way to the beach🌴🏖⛱️

I want to leave a review of only positive emotions and impressions of the chosen hotel.We had a rest this summer in August for 2 weeks.my husband and I lived in a room with a shower on the 2nd floor. I liked everything, a nice double bed, a refrigerator, a table with cozy armchairs, air conditioning (very conveniently located)6 towels were changed every day, unobtrusive room cleaning in our absence, always gel, soap,shampoo and a large hairdryer in the bathroom, great. Our accommodation was with a breakfast that was not eaten, such a set,super, we tried 2 times not to come (we left early for the sea)We missed him so much.We ate more than once in a cozy restaurant on the 1st floor, it was very tasty, and the bread-flatbread is indescribable)We are very sociable ourselves, we were told that they loved us, treated us to wine) Thanks to the girls and boys of the waiters. Tours and taxis were ordered from the reception desk, everything was fast and efficient. We will only come here, success to all in your business, thank you for everything!

Towels are changed every 2-3 days all over the world, or on demand (you throw it on the floor and it means you need to change it). It is necessary to think about ecology! Gel/shampoo is replenished daily, there were no problems with the light (they write that it is a common occurrence in Abkhazia) -Room size (Family room with 4 beds about 40 m2) - The presence of a balcony -there are bathrobes (the simplest ones) and slippers. Cons: - Breakfast. Everything is always cold, except for milk porridges. Scrambled eggs, casserole, sausage, etc. will always be absolutely cold. As explained, it is prepared and laid out long before the start of breakfast. Why, why? Is it really impossible to heat up at least in the microwave?! Coffee is the most inexpensive instant (I don't know what the problem is with boiled coffee in Abkhazia, but they often complain in different hotels) - The air conditioner was constantly breaking down - Windows facing the street (constant noise from cars and mosquitoes when windows are open) - Drinking water, just one 0.5 bottle per person. That's the whole mini bar. - Problems with hot water when the hotel (in my opinion) is not even half full. In the morning during rush hours, when apparently everyone was taking a shower, I had to wash under cold water. Or get up early. The boiler simply couldn't cope. -family room for 4 people, but only 2 armchairs. So, take turns drinking tea. Nevertheless, the overall impression is good. Even you get used to cold food on the 3rd day)

Excellent value for money We spent a week at the Dioscuria Hotel and were satisfied with our choice. Impressions: Clean, comfortable, everything you need is there. It's a disgusting hotel, and it's unclear who's writing these positive reviews.everything is old and battered , the walls are covered in mold .There is no elevator, you will carry your suitcases up the stairs by yourself .Musty smell.It's scary to eat at breakfast:cold milk porridge, cold scrambled eggs with pickled cucumbers and sausages from yesterday. There is a TV in the room, but it cannot be connected because the outlet is far away. The bathroom is a separate story. For 2 nights they gave 17 thousand. For what kind of money... There were sunflower seeds under the table in the room, the shower tray was broken, the underfloor heating and ventilation outlet was falling out. The windows faced the street and the double-glazed windows did not suppress the noise from cars at night. The weakest link is the breakfasts. Absolutely not tasty, the transfer of products. Practically no one eats anything from the guests, but the guy is surprised. The breakfast is comprehensive. Instant coffee or tea. A plate of very sweet oatmeal porridge, casserole and sour cream, two fried eggs, cold and dried, and a salad of cucumbers and tomatoes, weathered, as if it had been in the refrigerator for two days, were brought on a platter. Two pieces of different bread and a large piece of butter, which tastes incomprehensible, like margarine. In the end, I could only eat half of the oatmeal and the middle of the casserole. Transfer of products. It's a pity that everything is thrown away. When checking in, which happened officially in the morning, they also charged a resort fee of 200 rubles per person.

The hotel is very nondescript. Even in the season, the cost of 6500 per room is very expensive. The strange smell of spices that I had to sleep with the window open all night. The walls were all stained with some kind of stains, the carpet was exactly the same, it was scary to walk barefoot. The closet in the room is barely alive. The location of the switches is as inconvenient as possible, if you want to be with a lot of light, then you need to turn it off in the corridor to the entrance door to the room. The bathroom is a separate disappointment, there is rust on the glass around the lamps, and rust near the sockets. The shower doors close with difficulty, it feels like an awkward movement and the door will fly off its hinges. Accommodation even for one night is expensive and does not meet the expectations of price and quality.

Just about the cons: The carpet on the floor is like in a homeless shelter, stained and never cleaned. The ceiling in the bathroom is cramped. There is no hair dryer, towels and bathrobes are not ironed, so they are so hard that they peel off the skin. Noise insulation - 0! We didn't sleep a single night, because night racing in cars without mufflers is something. The water in the room is only for the first day, then there is a cooler on the ground floor. Among the advantages: location, breakfasts . Conclusion: I do not recommend it. For this money, you can find a better hotel.

We just returned from a trip to Sukhum. We stayed at the hotel for 11 days. Everything was wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful. It will always help. I didn't like the pillows, they were too thin, I told the reception about it-they brought another one, I slept great. At some point, the TV went off, the girl came and set everything up. About the room: the beds are comfortable, there is a table/chairs, refrigerator, cups/saucers/corkscrew, kettle, large wardrobe with hangers, slippers/bathrobes, bathroom accessories, hairdryer, satellite TV with Russian channels. The cleaning is excellent, towels are changed every day. Bed linen is provided about once every 5 days. The maids politely refuse to take tips, which surprised me)) It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk from the hotel to the beach. To the market as well. The hotel has a chic restaurant where breakfast is served every morning. Always delicious and varied. I'm attaching a photo. We also often went to a restaurant for lunch or dinner, because it was very convenient and, again, delicious. I especially liked the pasta carbonara and chicken kebab😻 I would like to say a special thank you to the sweetest waiter girls Lana and Nata❤I also thank the beautiful receptionist girl, I don't know her name, unfortunately. Girls will always tell you, help not only with the choice, but in general with any problem that arises. They always say hello even outside the restaurant. In general, the vacation was wonderful🥰 My mini-wishes for the hotel and restaurant: 1. it would be great to change the hair dryers, because they are just doll-like and with my long hair I had to dry for a very long time. 2. In the restaurant, I would like to see coffee with alternative milk, and not just regular. Also, the grill was often turned off in the restaurant in the evenings, you either had to wait a long time or order something else. We stayed at the hotel in early June 2023 for 4 nights. We booked a family room for three adults. The room has one double bed and two single beds with very comfortable mattresses. I slept just fine on them. The room is very spacious. You can fit two more beds. Cleaning is daily, towels are changed every day too. On the ground floor there is a very cozy restaurant where breakfast is served, which is included in the room rate. (The breakfasts are varied and hearty).I would like to mention the professional work of the waiters. Just well done. You can also have lunch or dinner at the restaurant. There is its own enclosed parking lot in the backyard. The hotel is very conveniently located in the very center. There are parks, theaters and shops nearby. It is a 5-minute walk to the sea, but it is worth considering that there is no beach in this place. But we didn't need it, because we had a purely sightseeing trip around Sukhum and the surrounding area. The only drawback is the windows in the hotel. Since the hotel is located on a very busy avenue, you definitely need windows with good sound insulation. The hum of cars is very audible, even with the windows closed. But in general, everything is fine. I recommend the hotel.

Every day there is a different and always delicious assortment. Not a buffet, but the set is fine. Something like this: tea / coffee, porridge, butter /cheese/bacon sandwiches, scrambled eggs / fried eggs, vegetables, cheesecakes - and it's all served on one plate at once in portions. The hotel has 3 floors, there is no elevator, the marble staircase is quite steep - for the young and dexterous it is not a problem, for the older generation it is worth bearing in mind. The government house is visible from the room window. The location is the center. There is a parking lot outside the gate. Excursions can be ordered at the reception desk, and there are some that are not available in street stalls with excursions. The restaurant is also not bad in general, a cozy summer house, coffee to drink, delicious food - and traditional cuisine is also delicious. We can safely recommend it - it is clear that the guests are treated carefully and the service is above average in this price category.

We were satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel, changing towels every day, cleaning the room every other day, linen was changed three times in 10 days, shampoo, gel were replenished every day, a steam iron and ironing board on each floor, which pleasantly surprised. We had a rest at the end of May 2023, a standard room with a balcony.The room is clean, cleaning every day, bathroom with shower and hairdryer,TV, refrigerator, wardrobe with mirror, table,double bed.Everything is in excellent condition, and it works, we went down to the first floor for breakfast, to the restaurant, not a buffet, but you will not be hungry.Very convenient location, the center of Sukhum, getting to the embankment is close, there is a bus stop nearby - you can go to Mocha beach or the Lighthouse, the market and shops are within walking distance.We were satisfied with everything, thanks a lot to the hotel staff for their care and attention.We will definitely come back to you!

The hotel is located near the park, the central street of the World. I had breakfast in the morning and went to the ends of the earth. And taaam mooore. NARTAA restaurant is open on the shore even during the off-season. The staff at Dioscuria is very friendly. I recommend visiting Sukhumi and the Dioskuria Hotel in this city.

We stopped on the way for a day. Standard room for 3400. Nice hotel, 7 minutes walk to the embankment. the room has everything you need, including a kettle and a hairdryer. The rooms are clean, the renovation is not fresh of course, but for us the main thing is cleanliness. The hotel has its own internal free parking. The room rate includes a decent breakfast (porridge, scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, tea/coffee). The staff is very nice, I liked the receptionist who settled us and the waiter girl, very polite. The hotel is not bad, but there are drawbacks. 1. The windows are not tightly closed (number 302), so the noise of the street is perfectly audible and blows when it is cold outside. 2. In the cold season, underfloor heating in the bathroom would not hurt, and they are there, but they do not work ... 3. In the hallway, where there should be a closet or a hanger, there is just an empty place. 4. When checking in, they put bottles of water, apparently 0.5 of the water was intended for the entire stay, and there is no cooler on the floor. Positive: 1. The very center. The building of the Council of Ministers is visible from the window. 2. Closed parking in the yard. 3. Hearty and delicious breakfast, different every day (always porridge, 2 eggs or omelet or sausage, 2 sandwiches with cheese and butter, dessert (cheesecakes or something else) with sour cream, a couple of cucumber slices, instant coffee or tea. 4. Shampoo/gel, soap, dental kit, slippers, bathrobe. 5. On the ground floor there is a good restaurant with a hookah area, we personally have not heard any noise from it, as they say in the reviews. With the cleaning, we did not understand whether they were doing it or not, but they came into the room without us, towels were changed, paper, shampoo was brought. The bed linen was not changed for 4 nights. Another recommendation to the owners of the hotel, breakfast should be from 7:00, not from 8:00
