A very underrated museum. I would say that the main attraction of Polotsk. First, there are several floors. Secondly, there are many exhibitions. I took 2 permanent ones. The icons are interesting. Especially those that have been moved to the walls. Very unusual and interesting. And most importantly, it's beautiful. And the second floor has large halls and interesting works. I speak as an artist). There's a lot to see. Both by design and execution. Unfortunately, there are no classics like Levitan Vrubel Savrasov Shishkin. But it's a huge gallery for a small town.

Floor of iconography and salaries, painting, sculpture, ceramics. Everything is very interesting. We watched a movie about the restoration of frescoes. It was the most amazing room.

An amazing exhibition of 19th century murals, taken in layers from the walls of the ancient church of the Savior-Euphrosyne Monastery. The 12th century murals remain in the church itself. They also need to be watched in order to get a complete picture of the incredible work of the restorers!
