The most convenient way to get to the castle is by train from Munich Central station (do not forget to put a ticket mark on the platform before entering the train, the fines are large), through the window you can view the magnificent landscapes of rural Germany with herds of Alpine cows. Tickets to the castle are sold near the railway station, there are souvenir shops (wonderful bells can be purchased), then walk uphill to the castle - you need to be in time for an audio guide tour (including in Russian). If walking is difficult, you can take a carriage to the castle for a little money. It's very, very beautiful both near the castle and inside.
