WishBound: Eternal Dungeon is a 2D roguelike with turn-based battles, a node-based map, and text events.
You play as a legendary Thief who once stole offerings from the God of Time. As punishment, the deity took away his name and past. Now the Thief enters the Cathedral of a dead god again and again, trying to reclaim what was lost — or understand that not everything can simply be taken.
In each run, you choose your path across the map, enter different rooms, fight enemies, find relics, meet strange characters, and make decisions. Some discoveries will help you survive, while others may become part of your debt to the Cathedral.
Battles are fought one on one. Watch the enemy’s intent, use attacks, guard, skills, and potions, and decide when to risk everything or play safe.
Can you reach the depths of the Cathedral and reclaim your name?
How to play
Choose the next node on the map and complete the room event: battle, treasure, rest, trap, merchant, NPC, shrine, or boss.
In battle, turns alternate between the player and the enemy. Watch the enemy’s intent to see what it is going to do next.
The player has 5 actions:
[1] Strike;
[2] Guard;
[3] Active skill;
[4] Second active skill;
[5] Potion, if available.
Defeat enemies to gain experience, coins, relics, and new options. Guard helps you survive heavy attacks, while resolve is spent on skills. Watch your HP: if it reaches zero, the run ends.
After each room, you return to the map and choose the next path. Sometimes it is better to risk danger for a reward; sometimes it is wiser to rest or escape and save your progress.
Your main goal is to reach the depths of the Cathedral, defeat the boss, and uncover the truth behind the Thief’s lost name.
