About game
Take the Corner is a board game against AI where you guide your pieces across the board. Your goal is to claim the opposite corner before the computer does.
Play on an 8×8 board with 9 pieces, or choose the larger 12×12 board with 16 pieces. Set the AI difficulty to match your play style: easy for a relaxed match, medium when you want to think ahead, and hard for a real challenge. Win matches to earn from 100 to 600 points per game: the bigger the board and the stronger the AI, the higher the reward. All points are added to your total score and sent to the global leaderboard.
During a match, you can pause the game, undo a move through a rewarded ad, and enable hints for available moves. Your progress and settings are saved in the cloud, so you can continue playing from another device. Dark theme and three color schemes — nature, classic, and candy — can be switched right during the game.
How to play
The goal is simple: move all your pieces from the starting corner to the opposite corner before your opponent does. On each turn, you can make one action. A piece can move one square up, down, left, or right. It can also jump over an adjacent piece — yours or your opponent’s — onto the empty square behind it. If there is another piece next to the landing square after a jump, you can keep jumping. A chain of jumps counts as one move. On the start screen, choose the board size — 8×8 or 12×12 — and the AI level: easy, medium, or hard. Winning earns you points: from 100 for an easy match on the small board to 600 for a hard match on the large board. All points are added to your total score and appear on the global leaderboard. Stuck or made a bad move? Undo it through a rewarded ad. And if you want to see your options faster, turn on hints: the game will highlight the available moves for the selected piece.Game info
