About game
Steel Assault is a fast-paced tank arcade built around a 20-sector campaign. Each sector sends several enemy waves at you before a commander with its own attack pattern enters the fight. Choose from four tanks, switch between armor-piercing shells, explosive rounds and machine-gun fire, or charge the railgun for a powerful shot. Between battles, improve armor, damage, speed, reload time and other stats. Quick raids, three difficulty levels, leaderboards and progress saving are also available.
How to play
Destroy each enemy wave, then defeat the sector commander. Move with WASD or the arrow keys, aim the turret with the mouse, and fire with the left mouse button or Space. Use Shift or the right mouse button to dash. Keys 1-4 or the mouse wheel switch ammunition. Hold the fire button to charge the railgun. Keep moving, flank heavily armored enemies, use cover and collect power-ups. After clearing a sector, choose an upgrade. Press P or Esc to pause and M to toggle sound. On touch devices, use the two on-screen sticks and action buttons.Game info
