About game
Smash Deep is a loud and simple arcade: you launch the balls and the wall goes to pieces.
You never have just one ball, and they are all different. The fire one sets wood alight, and the flame spreads to neighbours on its own. The heavy one punches through several blocks in a row. The piercing one flies right through a block. The homing one turns toward the nearest block after a hit. The plain one comes as a pair.
You go down floor by floor: twelve floors, then as deep as you last. Every few floors the place changes. Somewhere everything burns, somewhere nothing burns, somewhere the wall swings, and ledges along the edges catch a ball and let it work alone. A dark bottom waits at the end.
After each floor you pick one card: a new ball, a spare life or a bigger paddle. Broken blocks drop bonuses: slow motion, extra balls, fire, a wide paddle, an explosion. Catch the same one twice and it works harder.
The game remembers your run: close it, come back and continue from the same place.
How to play
Goal. Break every block on the floor. The violet metal is not a target: balls simply bounce off it, and it clears itself once the floor is done. Controls. Move the paddle with a finger or a mouse. At the start of a floor the balls rest on the paddle — release where you want to shoot from. After that they bounce on their own, and the angle depends on where on the paddle you catch them. Score. You score both for a hit and for a broken block, multiplied by your streak. The streak closes when a ball touches the paddle: the longer it was, the more flies into your score. Between floors. You pick one card of three: a new ball, a spare life or a bigger paddle. Bonuses drop from broken blocks — catch them with the paddle, and no harm done if one gets away. The end. Miss the balls and lose every life, and the run is over. The score goes to the leaderboard, and an unfinished run is saved for next time.Game info
