About game
Parry Core is a fast, single-screen reflex arcade. A glowing core sits at the center and projectiles streak in from all four edges. Raise a shield on the side a threat comes from, right before it hits, to deflect it — you never move the core; you read the swarm and answer each shard with a tap.
Clean parries chain a combo multiplier. Deflect right at the outer ring for a PERFECT parry — double points and faster charge. Fill the charge ring around the core, then tap the core to unleash a NOVA that clears the whole screen.
Every fifth wave a Core Breaker attacks: it parks at an edge and fires telegraphed volleys at your core — parry its shots to break it.
Earn Cores each run and spend them on upgrades — more starting lives, a wider parry window, faster NOVA charge, bigger payouts.
Three lives, no timer; the rising swarm is the pressure. Darts are fast, heavy shards need two taps, splitters fork in two. Thumb-first portrait, arrow keys / WASD on desktop. No download, instant load.
How to play
- TAP the side a threat comes from (top, right, bottom or left of the screen) to raise that shield and deflect it. - Desktop: Arrow keys or WASD (Up / Right / Down / Left). Space fires a NOVA. - Deflect a threat right as it reaches the outer ring for a PERFECT parry — double points and extra NOVA charge. - Each parry fills the charge ring around the core. When it glows gold, TAP the core to unleash a NOVA that clears the screen. - Clean parries raise your combo multiplier (x1.5, x2, x2.5 …). A miss resets it. - Threat types: darts are fast (1 tap); heavy hexagons need 2 taps; splitters fork into two — parry both. - Every 5th wave a Core Breaker boss attacks — parry its shots to break it. - 3 lives; a threat reaching the core costs one. Spend the Cores you earn in UPGRADES between runs, and beat your best score (saved on your device).Game info
