About game
Owl Escape is a dark first-person 3D game about escaping a maze. An ancient owl spirit roams the corridors looking for you - get spotted, and the level starts over. Find the glowing portal to escape to the next level.
The maze is procedurally generated every time you start a level, so memorizing a route won't help. Each level brings longer corridors and more owl spirits, and they move faster. Unsettling procedural audio sets the mood: a low drone, whispers, and the owl's hoot somewhere close.
If the owls corner you, you can watch an ad to freeze them for 10 seconds and slip past.
How to play
Desktop controls: WASD or arrow keys to move, mouse to look around (click the screen to lock the cursor), Esc to pause, M to mute. Mobile controls: touch the left half of the screen for a movement joystick, swipe the right half to look around. Goal: find the glowing green portal - that's the exit. Avoid the owl spirits: they head straight for you, and each level they get faster and more numerous. If they corner you, watch an ad to freeze them for 10 seconds and find a way past.Game info
