Number Tiles is a calm logic puzzle inspired by the Japanese game shikaku. The board contains numbered cells. From each number, paint one rectangular area: it must include that number, cover exactly as many cells as the number shows, and not overlap other areas.
The first levels introduce the idea in just a few moves. Later, the boards grow larger, thin and unexpected areas appear, and solving them requires more attention. If a move does not work, redraw the area or try a different shape. If you get stuck, a hint reveals one correct fragment.
Clear levels, collect stars, and compare your progress on the leaderboard. The game is good for short breaks and for players who enjoy tidy number puzzles without extra noise.
How to play
Each level gives you a grid with numbers. Press a cell on the board and drag to another cell to paint a rectangular area. If the selection contains exactly one number and the area size matches that number, it will stay on the board.
Your goal is to paint all available cells with correct areas. Each area must contain only one number, stay inside the board, and not overlap other areas. For example, the number 6 can be painted as a 1x6, 2x3, 3x2, or 6x1 area, as long as the chosen shape fits on the board and does not touch other numbers.
If a move does not fit, try another shape. An existing area can be redrawn. A hint automatically reveals one unsolved fragment when you need help.
When all cells are painted correctly, the level is complete. You receive stars and move on to the next puzzle.
