Katana Rush is a runner about a cyber-samurai. Four different worlds shift as you run: desert, snowy wasteland, neon synthwave street, and metro depths. Each biome has its own atmosphere, obstacles, and rhythm.
The heart of the game is the katana collection. Over twenty blades, each plays differently:
• Dashes: some pierce through several droids at once, others grow faster with every chained dash, others recharge after every defeat
• Defense: shield against one hit, deflect enemy bullets, extended dash invincibility, invincibility during lane switches
• Mobility: double jump, slow fall in air, ghost step on landing, extreme speed
• Coins: permanent magnet, coin streak multiplier up to 4x, triple coins, gold for defeating robots
• Score: multipliers up to 2x, chained dashes growing in power
Plus: day and night cycle, a daily Wheel of Fortune with diamonds, achievements for records and collection, leaderboards for score and distance.
How to play
One-handed controls, just a couple of gestures.
Movement:
• Swipe left / right (A, D) — switch to the adjacent lane
• Swipe up (Space, W) — jump
• Swipe down (S) — fast descent while in the air
• Tap the screen (E) — katana dash: cuts through a robot on your path and boosts your speed
Goal: run as far as you can, collect coins and diamonds, beat your distance and score records.
Tips:
• Dash uses charges — watch the counter. Some katanas restore a charge after each defeat
• Every katana fits a different style: some excel at coin pickup, others at defense, others at mobility with double jump
• Some katanas deflect enemy bullets back — use them against shooters
• Coins go into katana upgrades, diamonds unlock challenge blades
• Before a run, pick a booster: shield, magnet, or double coins
Between runs:
• Spin the Wheel of Fortune for bonus rewards
• Claim rewards for achievements
• Watch the leaderboard — maybe you're already among the top players
