You are the last warrior on a broken frontier. Wolves, bandits, archers and armoured knights close in from every side, and every minute there are more of them. Your weapons swing on their own - your job is deciding where to run and what to take when you level up.
Every level offers three cards: a new weapon or a piece of gear. Sword, returning axes, crossbow, spear, fire pot, hammer and flails combine with each other, so no two runs play the same way.
Wolves creep up and lunge. Archers lead their shots. Elite enemies are three times tougher. Every two and a half minutes a Warlord arrives: he winds up for almost a second and slams the ground with a shockwave - you can step out of it if you are quick.
A run lasts five to ten minutes and pays out gold. Between runs, gold buys permanent upgrades in the camp: health, damage, speed. Every attempt starts stronger than the last.
How to play
On a phone: drag anywhere on the screen - the stick appears under your finger. On a computer: WASD or arrow keys.
Weapons fire on their own, there is no aiming. The whole game is movement: keep the horde from closing around you.
Fallen enemies drop blue experience shards. Collect them - on each new level the fight pauses and offers three cards. Take area weapons when the crowd is thick, and damage upgrades when enemies get tough.
Red hearts restore health, coins go into the camp purse. A golden ring under an enemy marks an elite: tougher and harder hitting. An orange circle around the Warlord warns of a ground slam - move away.
After you fall you can rise once by watching an ad. All gold from the run goes to the camp for permanent upgrades.
