Hamsterio is an arcade survival game about a hamster in a real backyard. The scale is thrown off: grass is taller than the house and a beetle is the size of a dog. The hamster attacks on its own — you move, dodge and collect food. Ants, pillbugs, wasps, snails, spiders, beetles, toads, moles and moths come in waves. Snacks level you up, and each level lets you pick an upgrade: a weapon (seeds, orbiting acorns, popcorn mines, a nut mortar, static fluff, spicy breath, stinky cheese, a bubble) or a charm (sneakers, a chonky tummy, an acorn
helmet, a ninja headband, cool shades, a lucky clover, a hero cape, a snack backpack). Upgrades change the hamster's look too.
How to play
The hamster attacks on its own — you handle movement and survival.
Move with WASD or the arrow keys. On a phone, drag on the left side of the screen or use the gamepad's left stick.
Dash roll: Space, Shift or the A button on a gamepad. A short roll makes the hamster invincible, so you can roll straight through danger.
Food: bugs drop corn, blueberries and strawberries. Collect them for
experience and levels. Cheese heals, the magnet pulls every snack in, coffee speeds you up briefly and a firecracker clears the screen. Smash cookies for loot.
Upgrades: on each level pick a card with 1–4, the arrow keys plus Enter, or the mouse. The reroll button deals fresh options.
Bosses telegraph their big attacks — watch the ground and leave the attack line.
