About game
A school of magic where a spell has to be drawn, not picked from a list.
Every rune is a corridor. Lead your wand along it in one stroke, without lifting it and without touching the walls. The more precisely you trace, the more stars you earn; the faster you go, the higher the resonance and the more each spark is worth.
125 runes across five years, from a straight line to chains of three figures in the final exam. On eight runes of every year a classmate traces beside you, and you have to finish ahead. On the rest a cooling edge follows you: the spell goes cold if you crawl.
Along the way there are seals to steer around, shutters to wait out, coins and gems to collect. The shop sells wands with passive perks, magnets, collectors, and an hourglass that rewinds the rune two and a half seconds after a break.
Every day there is one trial shared by all players, identical for everyone, with a streak counter for winning day after day.
How to play
Hold the left mouse button on the green dot at the start of the rune and lead the cursor along the corridor to the star. On phones and tablets do the same with your finger. You may not lift the wand: release the button and the spell breaks. You may not cross the corridor wall either, though on the first three years a spare life forgives one mistake — the heart in the top left corner. Keep close to the middle of the corridor and do not slow down: precision and speed both raise the resonance, and the resonance multiplies the sparks you get for every coin. A skull on the corridor is a seal. It blocks the middle, so steer around it along the free side or break it with a gem. A shutter blocks the path completely: stop in front of it and wait until it opens. Press R to restart the rune. The game is played in landscape.Game info
