Galactic Commander is a turn-based space strategy where every order shifts the balance of power.
Choose a faction and lead its homeworld. Explore the galaxy, colonize neutral planets, extract metal and crystals. Build ships, raise mines and defensive structures, research technologies and strengthen your dominion.
Plan fleet movements across a hexagonal grid, defend valuable worlds and fight your opponents. Scouts open up space, frigates join battles, engineers develop planets, colony ships capture new worlds, and cruisers are capable of destroying enemy colonies.
Expand your holdings, control resources and eliminate your rivals to establish your authority over the galaxy.
How to play
Camera controls: • WASD or arrow keys — panning; • mouse wheel — zoom; • dragging empty space — map overview. Gameplay controls: • Spacebar — end turn. Your goal is to expand your holdings and destroy all enemy factions. Select your ship with the left mouse button. Drag it to an available cell or right-click a point to set a route. Select your planet to build ships. Deliver a colony ship to a neutral planet and drag it into a colonization slot to capture the world. Engineers build mines, research stations and defensive installations. Warships attack the enemy on contact, and a cruiser at an enemy planet can destroy the colony. Choose new technologies in the research window. When all orders are given, press "End Turn".Game info
