About game
«Fair Backgammon» — is a classic board strategy game where the outcome of a match depends not on the whims of a random number generator, but on real physics. Unlike most online backgammon games, there are no pre-calculated combinations or "rigged" rolls. Each dice roll is calculated in real time: the force and trajectory of your mouse movement or finger swipe affect how the dice bounce off the edges and land on the board.
Gameplay & Modes:
- Online matches — compete against real opponents in ranked or friendly games.
- Play against the computer — a great way to hone your skills. The AI plays fairly, using the same physics.
- Local play on a single device — take turns rolling the dice with a friend on the same device.
Key Features:
- Manual rolling with impact and bounce physics.
- True randomness — no hidden probability tables.
- 3D visualization.
Immerse yourself in fair play where success comes from skill, luck, and your own throw — not an algorithm.
How to play
Basic Rules:
- Goal — Move all your checkers around the board and be the first to bear them off.
- The number of moves is determined by the values rolled on the two dice.
- If you roll doubles, you get twice as many moves.
Rolling Controls (Mouse/Finger):
- Click and hold the left mouse button (or tap the screen) on the dice.
- Drag in a direction and release — the longer the drag, the stronger the throw.
Checker Controls:
- Click on a checker — it becomes active (click again to deactivate it).
- Click on a valid triangle on the board — the move is made.
- If there are no valid moves for the rolled numbers, the turn passes to the opponent.
