About game
Defense Io is a top-down tank survival game where every wave of enemies is a little stronger than the last.
Take control of a tank and defend your base against relentless waves of enemies. Kill them for resources, spend those on upgrades between fights, and hold on as the pressure keeps climbing.
Work through a deep upgrade tree of 20+ guns — from a single barrel to homing rockets, spinning blades, and a vortex cannon that catches enemy bullets. Choose from eight hull types — a berserker that hits harder the lower your HP drops, a shield that blocks fire from the front, a kamikaze built around ramming, and more.
It's not just your tank: place turrets, walls, and gates around your base, upgrade them mid-fight, and build drone hangars that gather resources or repair damage on their own.
Rare cores drop from tough enemies and bosses and carry over between runs forever. Spend them in a permanent meta-shop to unlock guns, hulls, and buildings for good.

How to play
Controls: WASD to move, mouse to aim and shoot. Open the shop right in the middle of combat, not just between waves: upgrade stats, buy new guns and hulls, build turrets, walls, and gates around your base. Kill enemies for resources and spend them on upgrades right away. Hold your base as long as you can — enemies get stronger with every wave.Game info
