“Color Trap” is an addictive puzzle game based on the Stroop effect that challenges your ability to focus and make quick decisions. The rule is simple but increasingly tricky: a color word appears on screen, but it is printed in a different color. Your goal is to tap the circle that matches the actual meaning of the word — not the color of the ink! This mental conflict creates a powerful cognitive workout and improves your selective attention.
The game features multiple difficulty levels — from “Easy” with more time and fewer colors, to “Expert” mode for true speed demons. Special "Competition" mode with no respawning.
Unlockable visual themes, a rich achievement system, and bonus lives keep the experience fresh. Each level gets harder and the time limit shrinks, making every round a new challenge. Enter the colorful challenge and push your brain to its limits!
How to play
A color word (e.g., “RED”) appears in the center, but it is written in a different ink color (e.g., blue). Your goal is to pick the color that the word means — not the color of the letters. Colored circles are shown below. To make your choice: On PC — hover the mouse over the desired circle and click the left button. Correct answers give you points. The faster you respond, the more bonus points you earn. Every 5 correct answers in a row increase your level and reduce the time limit for the next question. If you make a mistake or run out of time — the game ends. You can use a bonus life (if available) or restart with the “Play Again” button.Game info
