About game
A convenient chess game for those who want to play a game without unnecessary complexity. You can play together on the same device, train against bots with different difficulty levels, or test yourself in rating mode.
How to play
In front of you is an 8x8 square board and two sets of pieces: white and black. The players take turns, and the main goal of the game is to checkmate the opponent's king, that is, to create a threat from which he can no longer defend himself.
The whites go first. In one turn, the player moves one piece. Each piece moves in its own way:
The pawn moves forward one square, and from the initial position it can move to two at once. The pawn hits diagonally on one square.
The rook moves in a straight line: up, down, left or right to any number of free squares.
The bishop moves diagonally to any number of free squares.
The knight moves with the letter "G": two squares in the same direction and one to the side. The knight can jump over other pieces.
The queen is the strongest piece. He walks both in a straight line and diagonally on any number of free squares.
The king moves one square in any direction. He must be protected: if the king is under threat, it is called a check.
