About game
Catchphrases of Soviet Cinema is a warm quiz for everyone who grew up on Soviet comedies. A famous line from a beloved film appears on screen, styled like a frame of old movie reel. The task is simple: remember where it is from and pick the right title out of four options. After each answer you see a still from the film, its release year and director — a nice way to jog your memory.
The game has 629 catchphrases across six themed collections: Gaidai's comedies, Ryazanov's irony, films by Daneliya and Zakharov, crowd favorites, timeless legends and black-and-white classics. Correct answers earn coins — unlock new collections and spend a fifty-fifty hint to remove two wrong options when a line is hard.
It runs without registration and works equally well on phone and desktop: day and night themes, a leaderboard and a calm, uncluttered interface. Nostalgia, a game night with friends or a test of your film knowledge — all in one. How many will you recognize from the very first second?
