Asteria is a real-time strategy game about four powers competing for a contested sector. Found your own state, choose its leading species, government and civic principle, then take control of 12 out of 19 star systems.
Develop planets, balance six resources and specialize colonies with 11 buildings. Research nine technologies, enact laws and manage population, stability and unrest. Build fleets from five ship classes, reinforce orbital defenses and watch decisive battles unfold.
Rival powers follow the same rules: they trade, construct, research, sign treaties and wage wars. Use gifts, embassies, trade agreements and pacts, or conquer the frontier by force. The sector keeps moving in real time, but you can change the speed or pause the campaign whenever you need to plan.
How to play
The campaign goal is to control 12 of the sector’s 19 systems.
Name your state and choose its leading species, government and civic principle. Select planets to construct and upgrade buildings, balance six resources and keep the population stable. Spend science on technologies and influence on laws.
Build ships at orbital yards. Select one of your fleets, choose a connected system, then confirm a move or attack. Compare fleet strength with the target’s defenses, split and merge fleets, and reinforce important borders.
Use the exchange to post or accept orders. Send embassies and gifts, negotiate trade agreements and pacts, or declare war. Do not lose your final system. Change simulation speed from the top bar and pause whenever you need time to plan.
