How to play
The rules of Antichess differ significantly from classic chess: The main goal is to lose all your pieces or be stalemated (have no legal moves available). Capturing is forced! If you can capture an opponent's piece, you absolutely must do so. If there are multiple capture options, you may choose any of them. The King has no special status. There is no "check" or "checkmate", and the king can be captured just like any other piece. Pawns can be promoted to a King upon reaching the opposite side of the board (in addition to the usual Queen, Rook, Bishop, or Knight). Castling is not allowed in this variant.
