You begin with four primal aspects — Air, Fire, Water and Earth — and a research tree where everything else is still sealed.
Each research is a small hex board with two or three aspects fixed on it. Your task is to join them with an unbroken chain: two aspects link when one is a component of the other, or when both are components of the same thing. Lay the wrong neighbours side by side and nothing happens; find the route and a gold thread runs between them.
The board hands you a counted stock, not the whole palette — enough for the route it was built around and a little slack. Spend it badly and you run dry, so scrape a node clean and take the aspect back.
Every research you finish reveals one new aspect, opens the researches that needed it, and adds a page to the Library, where every aspect keeps its recipe and its known links.
Twenty-two researches, twenty-six aspects, no timer and no failure state.
How to play
Research tree. Click a research disc to open it. Drag anywhere on the tree to move the canvas; scroll the mouse wheel to zoom in and out. A disc marked with a question mark is still sealed — finish the researches it waits on first.
Puzzle board. Drag an aspect from the "Aspects at Hand" tray onto an empty node to write it there. Drag an aspect already on the board to another empty node to move it — that costs nothing from your stock. Click an aspect on the board to scrape it away and take it back. Sealed aspects are part of the puzzle and cannot be moved or removed.
Hover an aspect to see its name and its recipe. The counter on each tray tile is how many you have left. The "Watch an ad" button adds one extra aspect of your choice: a bonus, never needed to solve the board.
Top bar. "Tree" and "Library" switch screens, the selector changes the language, and the sound button mutes and unmutes.
