"The Secret of Monkey Island" is a classic adventure game with puzzle and quest elements. You play as a naive and dreamy young man named Guybrush Threepwood, who arrives at a mysterious archipelago in the Caribbean Sea with one grand ambition: to become the most fearsome pirate of all time!
Your journey begins on Melee Island, where you must prove your bravery by passing three pirate trials. But it will soon become apparent that the islands hide a dark secret: strange events are afoot here, and even the most bloodthirsty pirates are afraid of something. You will have to unravel the mysteries of local folklore, explore locations, and interact with colorful and often anachronistic characters.

How to play
Saving Progress: The game saves your progress locally in the browser cache. To avoid data loss, do not play in incognito mode. The Russian and English versions of the game use separate save lists. Saving and loading gameplay is done manually through the Menu, which is called up by the TAB key. PC Controls: ● Open menu: TAB ● Use highlighted verb: Right mouse click Tips: ● The command line is located directly below the animation window. Use it to construct sentences that tell the character what to do. A sentence consists of a verb (action word) and one or two nouns (objects). For example: "Use > shovel > dirt". The connecting symbols will be inserted automatically by the program. ● Pick up everything you see. These strange items might come in handy at some point.Game info
