Dark Room is a 2D side-view survival horror where every step could be your last. The action takes place in a 5-story building filled with dark corridors and apartments patrolled by deadly monsters. Your goal is to survive for 15 days, searching rooms for food, medicine, and tools. Use hiding spots and shadows to remain unseen. A limited inventory forces you to carefully choose what to take on each run. Every return to your apartment base gives you a moment to rest and prepare for the next day. Permanent death makes every wrong move fatal, and each playthrough a true test of focus and composure.
How to play
Start in your apartment — your base and safe zone. Explore the building’s floors, search rooms and corridors for food, medicine, and tools. Avoid direct encounters with monsters — they are deadly. Hide in closets, behind furniture, or in dark corners to stay undetected. On PC, controls are simple: A and D to move left and right, E to interact with objects, P to pause. On mobile, on-screen buttons are available for movement and actions. The inventory is limited, so plan what items to take with you. Each new day brings more risk: fewer resources and more dangerous paths. Your goal is to survive 15 days. Death is final — there are no second chances.Game info
