About game
"War of Viruses" is a game that simulates the development of two colonies of viruses that develop themselves and destroy each other. It was invented in the 80s of the XX century at Leningrad University.
How to play
Two players are playing "War of Viruses" on a 10 by 10 square board.
Each move consists of three separate consecutive moves, which the player adds his crosses or destroying the opponent's crosses.
Reproduction is putting one's symbol into any available (highlighted) empty square on the board, and destruction is declaring someone else's symbol dead, which is located on an accessible (highlighted) square.
A cell is considered accessible to crosses if it is either directly in contact (vertically, horizontally, or diagonally) with a live cross, or through a chain of destroyed crosses of the opponent (but not through a chain of killed crosses of the player!).
The goal of the game is to completely destroy the opponent's colony or if one of the players runs out of moves (he is considered the loser).
