Evolution 2D Lake is an evolution simulator where you play as a single—celled organism.
In the intuitive editor, create millions of unique organisms by attaching various parts: from spikes and jaws to photosynthetic pigments and jet accelerators. Each part affects the characteristics of the cell and can change the gameplay.
Immerse yourself in a procedurally generated world full of dangers. Collect phosphorus, sulfur, calcium, salt, iron to unlock new, even more powerful parts. Grow in size and conquer the microscopic world on new levels. Evolution 2D Lake is an endless sandbox of creativity and survival. Can you become an absolute dominant?
How to play
The main goal is to evolve.
The game has hints for control from the joystick or keyboard.
For movement:
💻 - WASD or cursor.
🎮 - the left stick.
📱 - use your finger to point the on-screen joystick (optional)
In the editor:
Attach various parts to your cage by dragging with the cursor or your finger. This changes the characteristics of the cell and its abilities.
Before using a part in the game, you need to create it, which requires resources!
Absorb resources (Phosphorus, Sulfur, Calcium, Salt, Iron) right during the game.
The minimap will always tell you in which habitat areas which resources are located. The minimap shows the types of creatures that live in the corresponding zone.
Editor control from the gamepad and keyboard is not supported yet.
